Its a small theater that puts on interesting and fun performances. Given all the restaurants around, its a great spot for a combination of dinner and a play. We have been to a couple of shows and have not been disappointed - fantastic food choices too in all the restaurants around.

We happened upon this theater by accident while walking around Mandela Square. It is a lovely theater with comfortable seating and good sight lines. we were actually met by the founder who was able to give us both good advice as t what show to see and tell us about the history behind the theater

The theatre is located on the Nelson Mandela square in sandton city. The interior decor is stunning from the entrance going down. The bathrooms are clean . There’s a bar inside. Drinks are allowed in the theatre during the show. Comfortable seating. Watched the Nik Rabinowitz show and enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to watching another gig there.

Saw the preview of House of Truth, a one man play about Can Themba. It was a wonderful introduction to this writer -- we went back the next day and bought the script and then researched more about him. The actor was terrific and the venue is charming.

This is a fantastic, intimate little theatre situated in the corner of Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. They frequently put new productions by South African talent on stage and there are lunch hour concerts (classical music) taking place at 13:00 every Friday (for only R50!).

The owner is a fantastic lady who has been honoured with awards for her contributions to South African theatre.

I went to see a play recently which I very much enjoyed. Although the tickets mentioned "No children under 13", I saw at least three children a few years younger than 13 in the audience (my only reason for not giving this theatre five stars).
