Did not stay here, but did the 2 Hour Tuk Tuk Tour. Our tour guide, Lollipop was very informative in showing us the highlights of Soweto. Was welcomed with a nice bunny chow lunch and afterwards had a great time chilling at the bar. Would recommend this tour company to anyone looking for a comprehensive tour of Soweto!

This tour was one of the highlight of the trip for us. Our guide, Jacob was not only professional and informative but he was also a great host. We learnt so much about South Africa history, Soweto and its people in those three hours. It really changed our perspectives and made us see things differently during the remainder of our trip.

For anyone who might be feeling a bit apprehensive about safety on tours, we encountered no issues and felt completely at ease walking around with Jacob!

We stayed 1 night during our trip. We made an impressive bike ride trough Soweto with a Soweto-guide. And we had a delicious meal in the garden. It is all beautiful and cozy outside. Friendly and helpful employees!

Doubtless the best way to experience the diverse and multilayered Soweto! Lebo's holds great accommodations and is also a hub for the locals on weekends. The bicycle tours are great, with experienced guides who will give you insights in the day-to-day life and history of Soweto.

Lebo's has set out to invite people in taking part of the Soweto vibe and culture - and it succeeds. I'm actually going to say that if you haven't stayed at least two nights at Lebo's for your stay in South Africa, you haven't got the full South African experience or understanding of the country.

I cannot rate this place highly enough, I feel like I partially live there (!)....the staff make you feel very welcome, and are very helpful and accommodating. Easy to arrange transport from the City centre and airport. The people running this place have worked very hard to ensure everybody leaves wanting to come back forever!
The food is irresistible, and I got to know members of staff, (and locals) during each of my trips, and never tire of listening to their stories. The bicycle or tut tut tours are very popular, although I preferred to use it as my base and walk into Vilakazi street and other parts of Soweto from here. In winter there is always fire, and plenty of hot water bottles and blankets to keep you warm. But all in all, nothing is warmer than the lovely people running and working at this place:)

    My second home forever :)
