We stayed here a few weeks ago for 9 nights as we had a wedding to attend near by. Room was lovely and spacious (room 14) and the staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly.
We didn't make breakfast very often as it finished a bit early for us (7am-9am) but when we did there was a good choice. As it was out of season the evening/lunch meal times did vary from that in the brochure in the room but we were always able to get something when we wanted.
The guest house was fenced with a secure car park, in a quiet residential area. Pool and gardens looked lovey
We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend

Room Tip: Room 14 was above the reception with its own balcony over looking the gardens and drive. Very spacious although if you don't like the bathroom open plan to the bedroom I'd choose another room.!

Stayed here for 3 nights while on business. The fully functional suite (No. 4) was a lot bigger than I expected, would have been a modestly priced apartment in the Midwest. The service was excellent, with the concierge taking my order for dinner at my door every night. The breakfast/dinner menu was a bit lacking for options, but the food was well prepared and tasty. It also never gave me any, ahem, issues later.

The only complaints I would have are these:
-The shower in my suite would not drain properly. I brought it up to the front desk, but it was never resolved.
-The AC/heater unit was fairly noisy, so I had to sleep with it off through the night.

Room Tip: Get the french toast for breakfast, it is quite tasty. Bring your own shampoo.

This B&B is located in Hillcrest, about half an hours drive from Durban, or a good hour from the airport. The staff are very friendly, the room we had was excellent, and we had a good breakfast. The accommodation is very central, close to the shops and restaurants, and well fenced with safe parking and sercurity gate.

We recently stayed here for a Week while visiting family in the area. We stayed in one of the units with the bedroom upstairs and living area downstairs. The room has a large king size bed and bathroom with bath tub upstairs and a living room, kitchen and shower room downstairs. There is plenty of room for a family of 3-4 as the sofa is also a sofa bed. The rooms were always cleaned very well every day. The breakfast offers a wide choice and was excellent also. The wifi in the hotel was very quick and only 30 rand a day to use. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to sit around the pool and chill but it all looked very nice and the hotel will offer you cake and tea at the pool if you arrange. The hotel will also serve dinners and room service if requested. We felt very safe at all times.

The only bad points were that we had a couple of issues with items in the room not working but once we mentioned these to reception they were sorted and fixed within the hour. You cannot argue with that. If you have a choice of room choose one nearer to the car park. We found from our room at the top that on some nights we were woken by dogs from neighbouring properties directly behind the bedroom windows. This wasnt every night but when they barked they woke us all up. Also we were unfortunate enough to have someone next to us with their TV on loud most nights till midnight. The walls are very thin. Of course these are things that may not occur at all on another visit.

Overall it is a fantastic place to stay and you will feel relaxed and chilled out. If there are problems they will help you straight away. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

Room Tip: Rooms 1-6 are probably the better ones to avoid noise etc and are closer to main reception, pool etc.
