“A difficult review to write”
Reviewed 16 May 2013

I have my trepidations about how genuine the previous reviews of this hotel are. The French reviewer brings up very valid points. The hotel is on a very noisy road! By any standards, the staircase is rickety and the night concierge is not at all friendly and not fluent in English. The parking is a bonus, but as you drive up you are greeted by broken furniture, sagging curtains and what looks like a staff quarters. On the plus side free Fast wireless Internet and the CLEANEST hotel room floor I have ever experienced. I only saw one woman and she was the lady that cooked me breakfast I was not uncomfortable but I did not feel all that welcome either. On two occasions I returned to the hotel and there was nobody on duty at the front desk in the early evening late afternoon. Convenient value for money yes but not a boutique hotel.

Room Tip: Maybe try for a room not right on the road which is honestly an informal race track,

Our room was spacious and very clean. Beautifully (minimalist) decorated. I requested twin beds and were given 2 3/4 beds which was brilliant! Staff were very friendly and the secure parking is a bonus.
