Service was brisk and attentive at the start of the evening, and drinks were brought promptly. We discovered a lovely Reyneke Organic Sauvignon Blanc here; chamomile and almond at first, ending with pear in a long finish. It went well with the fillet steaks we ordered: four done in different ways and with different accompaniments. Everything - the steaks, the creamed spinach, the chips, the blue cheese sauce, the lot - was presented beautifully and tasted very good. At this stage, the service deteriorated somewhat and we struggled to get our waiter's attention. However, we persevered and he arrived with our bill eventually. Be warned: there is a problem with Diner's Card - they don't have facilities. We ended by paying cash. It is a lovely restaurant with a good kiddies' room, superb food and a short but good winelist, and we will be back to try some more of their many many specialities.
