Take your time here and enjoy shopping for Indian spices and clothing and African curios -- especially if you're not going to be in the Zululand areas. You can bargain hard here.

Be very careful in this neighborhood.

Secure parking below makes the market very accessible. The prices are fair and the items are traditional touristy souvenirs. Avoid R Moody’s spices. The lady working there is very pushy, has ridiculous prices and gets rather aggressive if you don’t want to buy stuff.

Not a really exceptional visit
Good for African trinkets and some spices but not much else.
Not safe to walk around outside the markets so have a taxi take you and wait for you to finish and take you home

It was a great experience for me walking through all the markets. Seeing such alot of stuff to buy and don't know what to buy. Doing the henna tattoo was a hit. Great place to shop for gifts.
