“Spectacular views with African village”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Nice way to experience some of the traditional African cultural aspects-though not authentic but close enough....

There's great views to be had from the restaurant next to the village and a crocodile and reptile park next door.

They also do some game drives but not the best ones in their reserve but could be wrong. Have driven with own car and we didn't see much

“A somewhat hokey Zulu village”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

We visited the Valley of a 1000 Hills near Durban to see Zulu culture. It is a Zulu village and quests witness a group of dancers as well as some history and cultural descriptions. Our guide was excellent; he had a good sense of humor and got everyone engaged. The performers were a bit ragged and seemed a bit jaded. The place seems faded. Not really worth the trip.

“Amazing.”

Beautiful...but take long sleeves with you, especially if you're up there in the afternoon/evenings, it can be quite cold.

“spectacular”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

We stopped for lunch at the Pot and Kettle which overlooks the valley of 1000 hills. The view was spectacular [though I'm not sure the number of hills adds up]. The restaurant site also included a craft village with interesting shops
