If you are keen gardener like myself, it us like walking into a candy shop. These gardens are simply magnificent and carefully manicured. The plants are mature and beautiful specimens of sub tropical climate. Take a stroll stroll and simply marvel at Mother Nature at her best!

Since a lovely peaceful park to walk through, it really does display the best Africa (and the world) has to offer when it comes to flora....

Here you will find both indigenous and exotic plants from all over the world. There is a huge cycad garden where some of the rarest cycads in the world can be found. The gardens also feature a huge lake with resident water birds nesting in and around it. Explore all the historical sites and also the Orchid House. There is a Tea Garden where you can buy tea, coffee and delicious scones, crumpets etc. Funds raised go towards charity. There are also some very interesting sculptures placed strategically throughout the gardens.
