“Jaipur in Durban”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2013

The smells, sound and colour. The hum and buzz of the people., makes you feel as though you have been to India! Lots to buy from spices and curry powders to exotic saris, gorgeous beaded sandals and jewellery. Take cash and bargain!

“Something different”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2012

In a mordern city, you could be forgiven for thinking that you are in an area that is from yesteryear. Some of the buildings are extremely old, as are the traders. well worth visiting

“busy and crazy and wow”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2012

looking for what ever and you will probably find it in this neck of the woods, no not in the stores but on the streets. there are street vendors for just about anything you might need, or think you need. persistant they are not though. and for the very brave you can even get your fortunes told by the local soothsayers, fully dressed in the local zulu traditions.
bookshops, veg and groceries, offices, movies, fast food, fine dining, places of worship, its all here, attracting many and home to even more, and a workplace for countless.
traffic is horrendous, parking is impossible, so be prepared to walk.
have fun, and watch your pockets- you never know.
