First time in South Africa, or Africa for that matter. The staff was friendly, the accomodation was exactly as described on the website. If I could make a suggestion : put a door in the bathroom. The shower was excellent though! Very good bed! We have not seen the owners altough we stayed 5 days and find the prices for WiFi way too high. Why not include it in the price of the room? Dinner was excellent. Wildebees is situated close to different parks which is always a good point! Overall, a good experience.

This is our second trip to the Ecolodge and again, everything was as we expected...WONDERFUL!

Staff were as accommodating as always and we noticed Chocsy (their horse) got a friend!
Dinner was unbelievable and their chef is really talented especially for the R140-00 per person that we paid for a 3-course meal.

Our accommodation was comfortable and clean, the attention to detail with the hibiscus and bouganvilla flowers scattered about always makes you feel like you've stepped into a honeymoon suite.

Thank you Martin, Marieka, Lesley and Martin Cele for always welcoming us with open arms, hearts and happy smiles!

Beeing a South African and travelling loads this spot has everything you need. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and in the bush. Only those who have to have aircon will not survive but the fans work great. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpfull. Will def be going back!

We arrived at the lodge very late with our two youngsters (9 & 2).We were shown to our room and were strongly advised not to drink the water from the taps. There was water for sale at the bar.
During the night, put 2 year old started fussing. We tried to locate the light switch but couldn't see a thing. Every single light in the lodge was off. It was the darkest ice ever seen it. In the morning, I tried to shower but the water was icy cold.
I also believe that the lodge is a bit eerie and sinister rather than cute.
I will definitely not stay here again.

We travelled 2 weeks throughout South Africa and this by far the place we enjoyed the most. The cabin was simple but cute and welcoming, the garden is beautiful and the premises very nicely decorated. Most of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Thank you for the great stay, and especially for giving us the chance to caress a cheetah !

It was very hard to find it but the travel was worth it. I think it was a cute little lodge with great stuff!! There was a little pool we have used and there was a bar where we had some drinks. We stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent!
Thanks a lot for making us our stay very special! Diana and family..

This was our 2nd visit to the lodge. The chalets were comfy and private, attention to detail with a lovely touch of flower petals spread in patterns to welcome you. Quite a lot of mosquitoes this time of year - we bought "Doom" to spray the room before bedtime. May I suggest that this is provided in the room. We slept without disturbance after doing this on the second night. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special, and we really enjoyed our evening meal and complementary "shooter" as it was my husband's birthday! A really special hideaway in the bush - we will be back!

Room Tip: We had chalet 10 (with double bed and full bathroom), coffee/tea facilities and lovely outside seati...
