An Umhlanga magazine alerted us to the presence of this very stylish steakhouse and what a lovely place it was. We were on holiday In December and enjoyed a wonderful steak meal. The restaurant was quite empty - which was a surprise as 'the strip' in Umhlanga was heaving with people. The decor and appointment is very stylish and the view is fabulous, Service was warm and friendly, the wine list was good and the steaks were cooked to perfection.
We ordered some onion rings as a snack with drinks and they were outstanding. The only disappointment was the chips which were of the frozen variety, blond and slightly soft and laden with that nasty spice that they use in Steers. A shame as a good steakhouse should be known for its great chips, onion rings and steaks. We will return on our next trip to Durban, possible for an earlier meal so we get more of the view.
