Old school charm is what you'll get here
Old railway station with wood tables and chairs, not fine dining type ; it is a cafe
but the food was really great and the service excellent.

Food more Tapas style.
We have had Tapas Salmon on a plate with lovely dressing and also salmon salad ; we went back on Sunday for sunday roast and it was really good as well as the soul ; so they dont just cater for the Day travellers for a quick bite but also for the serious eaters.

love the setting in a natural garden close by the beach surrounde by bushes and trees,
but if it is a cloudy day take your jacket with.
When it is a sunny day
Take you sun tan lotion cause they are 5 steps away from the beach
grab a small breakfast really affordable and go to the beach
go back for light lunch; like their tapas or salads and then back to the beach and tonight hit it off with couple of sundowners and some food.

Good freshly prepared food with a GREAT winelist
from carefully selected expensive boutique wine farms to really affordable every day drinking wines which all compliments their food

Go and enjoy!
but take your time it is not an KFC fast food outlet

thanks beejuice team

Really lovely little cafe in an interesting setting slightly back from the beach and next the the railway line (in the nicest possible way).

We stopped for a late lunch, and unfortunately a number of items from the menu had already sold out. I had the roti vegetable curry, and Hubby had the chicken sandwich. Both were very nice, the curry a bit too oily but not unforgivably so.

The wine menu was a bit limited and the wine by the glass pretty ordinary, but as the place is only a small cafe I don't think you can expect an extensive list. There is always the option for bringing your own bottle.

Service was very good; prompt, friendly and efficient.

All in all a lovely spot to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

A cosy restaurant with a fire burning in the fireplace on a cold day, what more could we have asked for? There were many specials on the blackboard, and quite a good choice on the menu. The selection of wines was ok, but could have been better. Service was good, which it should have been with an almost empty restaurant. A place to go back to on a hot day after a long walk on the beach.
