“Couldn't get any better”

We have just arrived home after a wonderful 4 days at the Dune Guest Lodge. The trip was a surprise holiday for us paid for by our children and they couldn't have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel ''special''. The room (the Beach room) had everything you needed and was very spacious.Waking up and seeing whales from the room was the icing on the cake! The breakfasts were amazing and everything was very well-presented. Well done to all the staff - we would thoroughly recommend the Dune and would love to be back some time.

We had a fantastic stay at Dune Guest Lodge which is perfectly located in The Wilderness with its close proximity and easy access on to one of the finest beaches. Wilna, our host was excellent and made us feel very welcome and at home. We went there to enjoy some peace and quiet and to rest and that was easily achieved. One recommendation would be that the hotel looks into providing the option of dinners as well as for us with a young family, this would have made the stay perfect !!!

The Guest House is right on the top of the dunes, as the name suggests. Several rooms have terraces overlooking the beach, and there are steps down to the beach. It is a simply stunning place to stay. The Indian Ocean breakers were pounding away all night, but I found that soothing.
There is also a swimming pool and terrace with loungers, but clearly that's more useful in the summer. I found a warm sunny spot on a lounger to read and before long the manager appeared with a cushion.
Our rooms were exceptionally well equipped and comfortable, with everything you could have possibly desired; safe, robes, coffee maker, kettle, fridge, sofa, excellent shower and bath, super large bath, etc.
The public rooms were very comfortable, and a fire was lit in the evening which made a really cosy place for a nightcap.
Breakfast was excellent, in an airy room, with a delicious platter of fruits, a cooked breakfast, which was very well done, and all manner of other options, including cheese, ham, etc. You could help yourself to a wide variety of teas, make more toast, and the service was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the manager was very attentive. It's a slick operation, which I would recommend to anyone who fancies a bit of luxury by the seaside, at whatever time of year.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the ground floor overlooking the sea

If you want beach right on your doorstep, amazing views and a sense of comfort and luxury this is the place to stay.
Great breakfast, lovely hosts, and superb overall value for money for the location.
Walking distance to some nice restaurants, and overall a good experience.

We are currently staying at this beautiful B&B in Wilderness. I wanted to review ASAP as I am so impressed with everything so far. The most magnificent sea views from most rooms, luxurious rooms (we have two). Nespresso pod machine in each room, fluffy white towels, robes, etc. as it's winter-time and a chilly 8deg, we have not made use of the stunning deck outside our room, but sitting on the couch in the room, overlooking the view has been amazing. We will definitely be back....thank you guys!

We stayed three nights at this exceptional bed and breakfast Lodge accommodation. Superbly located, with all rooms directly overlooking the wonderful unspoilt Wilderness Beach, the accommodation is modern, well designed all with ensuite facilities and underfloor heating. Each room has direct access to the beach via its own private balcony and the rooms are thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard.
Breakfast is taken on the first floor which has even better views and the presentation and quality of the breakfast exceeds five stars!
There are also a variety of very good conveniently local restaurants to take dinner including "The Girls" which for an extra 30 Rand will collect you and deliver you home afterwards.
Simply perfection.

Room Tip: They are all good.

Loved it. Stayed for 5 nights and everything was perfect.

Had an initial problem when booked through booking.com, the room I thought I had booked was in fact not the room booked, kindly sorted out by the guest house with minimal hassle.
