Arriving at the Wilderness Manor you are greeted by the most wonderful & accommodating of hosts, Gerald and JD, who make you feel truly at home. The bedrooms are wonderfully furnished, very spacious & have a relaxing ambiance. Not enough can be said of the luxurious & amazing breakfast spread that is offered. If ever there was a B&B we were more reluctant to leave it is the Wilderness Manor, it is simply perfect.

Room Tip: Always go for the lagoon view option.

Very well maintained hotel, huge lovely room and bathroom and wonderful breakfast. Gerald was very accommodating, entertaining and offered a lot of advice. We were very happy with our visit and would recommend to any traveller coming through the region.

This B&B was lovely and this was mainly due to the wonderful owners Gerald and JD. They were very welcoming, accommodating to our needs and helpful with recommendations within the local area. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip and one day we had to leave early as we were going to the see the meerkats in Oudtshoorn (www.meerkatadventures.co.za), Gerald and JD made us a pack up breakfast to take with us and woke up early to check we knew the route before setting off. The B&B is well situated just off the N2. Wilderness had a few nice restaurants and a lovely beach which was a short walk/drive away. During our stay in Wilderness, we visited Knysna and the Map of Africa. We had a relaxing stay at Wilderness and this was thanks to the excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend a visit.

You cannot help but love Wilderness Manor.
JD was away during our stay but Gerald....I will never forget. He helped us organise our time during our stay all of which were great. We visited the Cango Caves and then went to the wildlife park and actually stroked a tiger. Gerald told us that if we enjoyed that we should walk with the large cats where we were going next (to Plettenburg Bay) and where my dreams came true. He is the most dedicated host and was invaluable at giving good clear directions to wherever you needed to go. Apart from the house being just wonderfully clean and welcoming and the food being great too, Gerald was an amazing host and we will return. Well done

It is absolutely wonderful that you enjoyed your stay at Wilderness Manor so much.
Thank you so much for your review.
It is so fantastic to hear that our guests have enjoyed themselves.
Great to hear that your dream has been fulfilled - it is fantastic to walk with the cheetahs at Tenikwa.
The cat experience at Cango Wildlife Ranch is also great!
We look forward to your return visit to Wilderness Manor.
Take care and all the best.

Gerald and JD have perfected the art of great hosts! Sadly, we could only stay overnight. Would love to stay longer. Great breakfast. Comfortable room with a beautifull view of the lagoon. Only complaint is that I did not have the opportunity to meet Max and Maggie, or to take them for a walk!! Definitely next time! Thanks for your hospitality, much enjoyed!

Schalk, next time you come to Wilderness Manor you will have the opportunity to meet Maxwell & Maggie.
You can even take them for that walk, and that is for definite - they will only be too happy to go along with you.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to review Wilderness Manor.
It is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you had a great breakfast.
We look forward to your next stay with us and make it longer than one night only...
