Let me start of this review by saying that I absolutely loved this guest house. It has been, by far our favorite on our garden route trip so far and it was honestly a bit sad to have left.
The lovely and light and airy house is located right on the beachfront in a slightly elevated location and the 180 degree sea views are just stunning. Careen the manageress and her staff Pauline and Eunice were lovely and even did our washing for us one day since they were not very busy. Pauline did not even want to charge us for it so we left her a nice tip to say thank you.
Breakfast was a pleasant affair with many options and was very well made by Pauline and Eunice.
There is free wifi and a small library and plenty of space to lounge around indoors and outdoors. Some of the extra features that I liked we're the liquors in the rooms and beach towels which was very thoughtful.
Careen (sorry about the spelling) was very helpful and gave us some good advice about our days adventures, "wear sunscreen if you are going to the Cango Caves, it's 38 degrees there today!"
Overall we loved our stay, the stunning location and the friendly staff and of course the good food and the lovely, lovely house. When I win the lottery this is exactly the type of place I would buy.
When we return this will be our first option in Wilderness, an undiscovered gem of a place!
