My wife and I drove past this restaurant on Saturday round about lunch time and decided in the spur of the moment to stop there for lunch. It turned out to be a very good decision as the 2014 Super Rugby final was also being played then. This place offers both indoor and outdoor seating and has a festive atmosphere with enthusiastic sport supporters watching the sport on many TV screens. Although the service was a bit slow it did not matter as we all enjoyed cheering the Australian Waratahs to their first Super Rugby victory. Our waitron Esmeralda attended to our food and drink requirements in a friendly way. The hamburgers we had were huge and tasty while this restaurant is known for offering a 1,4 kg steak. Everyone that manages to stomach this humongous steak can have their name engraved on a medallion and placed on a notice board inside the restaurant. We also found all the humorous notices placed on the walls very amusing.
The manageress Hayley however appeared rather unfriendly by ignoring me when I asked her a question. Our waitron then explained that Hayley does not understand Afrikaans. Apart from the slow service we never the less thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant.
