We had a great time at Nkambeni, to have breakfast and dinner included, as well as a great room and to be inside the park this was a great value. The staff was very accommodating and there is even a pool to relax at once sight seeing is over. The food was good and there was a great variety. There are also activities that you can sign up for such as a sunset safari which includes snacks and drinks. We heard lions roar, watched the sunset, then looked at stars!

My wife and I spent a few days and nights Nkambeni Tented Lodge an enjoyed it. Staying in the tents gives you a real sense of being on safari. The tents were clean but dimly lit. The food was good and there was a lot of it. The staff were very friendly and engaging.

The tents are terrible they have holes in them. The dining hall has no ventilation so it's unbearable hot. The food is unimaginative and always the same. You have to pay ever time you go into the Kruger Park it is not inside the park so Don't be mislead. If you have to leave the staff at reception font know the first thing about customer service. The gate pass they talk about is for their gate not the Kruger gate.

We booked an all inclusive Kruger Park Safari which uses the Nkambeni camp for accomodation. The tented rooms provide a wonderful combination of wilderness and luxury. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the mosquito nets on windows were effective in keeping most insects out. The outdoor showers were definitely something unique. The food was excellent and there were numerous options for vegetarians/vegans. Tea and coffee were available all day in the dining room.It was a great experience to stay in a property that is so green and sustainable in its nature. This camp is definitely recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the railway line and the central area where most vehicles park

Prior to my trip to Nkambeni, I'd read other reviews on Trip Advisor and was nervous to see what was in store. After spending nearly a week there, I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about! I found Nkambeni to be a fantastic location and a great place to stay. Yes, it's right outside of the actual Kruger gates, but you can see hippos from your dining table! Being outside of the gate took absolutely nothing away from our experience. Our safari driver, Sam, was wonderful and knowledgable. We were able to see the Big Five several times over and Sam was great about finding us the animals that we wanted to view. The tent was clean and secure and AC equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked. The food was good. I would absolutely stay at Nkambeni again and recommend it to others.

The tents are rather dirty.
Wholes in the musquito windows. It had a weird smell and it was way to hot in there.

The food was not good. Not good at all.
The only OK thing we had was the lunch we had to pay extra for. Buffet was not good. Breakfast was terrible!

Would not go back and would not recommend this palce either.

Worst safari we had was here.

:(
