I had an excellent experience this April. The service was exceptional, including the cleaning and tidying of the tents. The tents are airconditioned and the duvets are soft and comfortable. The decor is very pretty, including the bedthrows. I just loved that.
The buffet food bar was set up very well. The food is delicious. The barbeque was my favourite, the steak melting in your mouth! The desert table was to die for! Very traditional South African dishes. The sago pudding was very nice, the lemon meringue and peppermint crisp pies are the best!
The management at Nkambeni Lodge is top notch and very helpful and friendly.
There are a variety of safari activities available and it was truly a typical South African bush experience!

We had my dad's 70th birthday at nkambeni camp this weekend.
I have to say, that in all the years I arranged functions i have never come across a venue quite like this! The staff was SO friendly and helpful and did not hesitate to go the extra mile for us. The food was ABSOLUTELY fabulous and not expensive at all! The rooms were very neat and clean. We were treated like royalty the entire time we spent there. Thanks guys! Well done!

This place was awesome. It's located within the park so you feel like you're getting the real Kruger experience. The tented accomodations are really nice and I loved the outdoor showers. A relatively inexpensive price covers your accomodation as well as all you can eat breakfast and dinner, which is quite a steal. Also, the sunset safari tours are amazing...makes you feel like you're getting the real safari experience and there's even a happy hour complete with drinks and snacks waiting for you when you make it to the end. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We booked at nkambeni safari camp as the kruger park was full over the long weekend period and the lodge was within the boundary of the kruger. From the time we arrived the staff was wonderful, friendly and so help full. We truly felt very welcome during our stay. the food was excilent and a wide varity to suit all tastes. the activerties where well organized and guides of the highest quality, whiliest staying there we did two game drives, sundowner drive (what a view), bush braai (awsome) and guided walk. The sightings (leopard three times) where wow even at this time of the year when the vegatation is so thick. For the price you pay and the service you get this is truly a place that I would highly recommend and they will definatly see me again. I judge a weekend break away or vaction by the will to stay for longer or the urge to leave, at nkambeni definatly wanted to stay longer.

We had a great time at Nkambeni, to have breakfast and dinner included, as well as a great room and to be inside the park this was a great value. The staff was very accommodating and there is even a pool to relax at once sight seeing is over. The food was good and there was a great variety. There are also activities that you can sign up for such as a sunset safari which includes snacks and drinks. We heard lions roar, watched the sunset, then looked at stars!

My wife and I spent a few days and nights Nkambeni Tented Lodge an enjoyed it. Staying in the tents gives you a real sense of being on safari. The tents were clean but dimly lit. The food was good and there was a lot of it. The staff were very friendly and engaging.
