We decided to go for an Inferno Suite which was quite possibly the coolest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Great views right out onto the bridge, modern minimalist feel, amazing shower, sound system with ipod dock etc. also the best bed we have ever slept in.

However, there is a bar on-site that is noisy until midnight during the week. This didn't bother us as we were enjoying the spa bath and room facilities until then but if you don't like staying up late, go somewhere else.

Front desk staff seemed polite and helpful.

Annoyingly the ice machine is on the second floor, we paid for the top room and that was on the lower floor - Surely they could put one down there or in the lobby?

No breakfast is available.

PROS:
Tempur-pedic mattress - incredible!
Chic, zen room decor (perhaps too white).
Great toiletries.
Stunning location with the London Bridge views.

CONS:
Noisy outdoor bar below all room balconies (do not stay here if you want to get to sleep early)
Ditzy front desk clerk.
No coffee.
No business centre.
AC unit in ceiling noisy, and dripped a sizable dangerous puddle onto the floor through the night.
Industrial corridors.
No pool.
No hot tub.

I'm saying "yes" I would recommend this hotel to a friend, but it REALLY depends on which friend. Not really suitable for seniors or families.

I was really looking forward to staying in the Heat hotel having seen all the beautiful rooms on the website.

We stayed in a large corner room overlooking the lake and if you want a nice view of London Bridge this is the place to stay.

The room was a good size but looked very tired. I can imagine when the hotel was first modernised the rooms would have been fantastic but that must be quite a few years ago now.

The bathroom with Jacuzzi again was a nice size but had that slightly grubby look a room gets when it needs a refurb.

If you are staying in Lake Havasu then I think this is a great place to stay but it could be much better.

Should have known we were in trouble when the only check-in desk was at the bar. There's also a VERY LOUD outside bar which plays big music late into the night/morning. All rooms get hit with this, there are no quiet rooms here. There's a noisy restaurant on the other side of the hotel, so you get slammed every which way. At check-in you even have to sign a waiver saying you have been apprised of the high noise level.

Front desk folks were pleasant, but seemed puzzled when we asked if there were laundry facilities on site (not) and when we asked for a lighter-weight blanket (this was provided). London Bridge view is nice - it's absolutely right there. However, there's an expansion joint on the bridge near the hotel so that every car that goes over gives you a loud thump thump. This place seems more like a big bar with a few hotel rooms attached rather than a hotel with a bar on the side. We stayed 5 nights and would have left, but we were facing a non-refundability situation and were too busy at a convention during the day/evening to find a new place and relocate.

Maid service was inconsistent. Glasses weren't replaced, not enough soap bars in the bathroom. Walls and doors had big black marks which could easily have been cleaned and painted, but weren't.

When I looked at their website today to try to opt out of getting their communications that there is no unsubscribe feature and that, when you click their Privacy link, nothing comes up. That about sums it up. I should have researched this location more. Shame on me for not doing due diligence.

For us, this was really just a stop-over on our way to Grand Canyon. But I must say the hotel was surprisingly nice. We had a large and comfortable room with a view to the London Bridge. I am not quite sure if there is really anything to do in Lake Havasu City in December, but that was not very important to us.
There is an outside bar at this hotel and we could hear some noice from there, in our room.

As other people have said, the Heat Hotel is unique - I looked at the local hotels online, and all seemed to have that same bland cookie-cutter hotel mold. The Heat Hotel is different and refreshing. It's right on the water next to London Bridge, and it's a short walk to many restaurants and a park nearby.

We stayed there on a Saturday night two weeks before Christmas (so we could visit family), so the outside bar near the lobby wasn't too busy or loud. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and nice. They appeared to appreciate our business, especially in the off-season.

The parking lot is not the easiest to find (you have to drive through the Javelina Cantina's parking lot to get to it), but I knew this from looking at Google's Street View, and called ahead to verify it with the desk clerk. Easy enough.

Our room was a double queen, stark white and modern with a private patio with a great view of the bridge. Nice large bathroom with a jet tub I sadly didn't get to take advantage of. The wireless worked flawlessly, although I had to call down to the front desk to get a passcode. The TV wasn't a flatscreen, but there was a DVD player attached. I wasn't in Havasu to watch TV anyway : )

I'd actually love to stay there when it's busier, because it strikes me as a place that desires to be a hot spot / destination that caters to a crowd who want that spice. For me, it was a refreshing change from the Comfort Inn / Best Western style places.
