“Jetboat tour”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

We took the Toprock George tour and stop for lunch 4-14. The scenery was impressive and the boat was comfortable. We paid the $5/person extra for the VIP seats in front. The stop at Pirate's Cove would have been good if the restaurant had even the minimal level of service. When the food did arrive it was very good, but due to the service the boat was delayed over 20 minutes. We complained to the boat crew who indicated that was not uncommon. I suggested they book the stop with another local restaurant and they just made excuses for the Pirate Cove. Overall, the cruise was worth going on, but not with the lunch stop,

“Great Trip”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

We took the Topock Gorge Tour on the Starship 2010 today. The crew, Sean and Kevin, were very helpful and friendly, and Sean gave lots of good information. They are very accommodating and answer all of your questions, as well as make sure the boat is turned so that everyone can get the pictures that they want. It was a really nice way to spend the day, and the scenery was beautiful.

“Got STIFFED - don't buy this”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 via mobile

Booked this month's ago and even spoke to the owner by phone. Then when we got here from CA, called and he canceled our ride saying because we were the only 2 booked !! Very lame excuse and very disappointed ! There is a lot going on here this weekend and while I can't be sure, I think he may have booked a larger group and bumped us 2. Well only be here two days and no real time to find another tour. I tried calling another operator and they are fully booked thru the weekend.

“Topock Gorge Tour on the Starship 2010”
Reviewed 26 February 2014

Took the all day jetboat tour with Bluewater charters from Lake Havasu City up the Colorado River through Topock Gorge to the Pirates Cove Resort on the California side. Trip up took approx 1.5 hrs, then 1.5 hr lunch break at the resort then the 1.5 return. This was a really great trip with fantastic scenery, especially in the gorge. The boat pilot and assistant were excellent at stopping and circling to point out wildlife and geological formations while giving a very informative commentary on the history of this section of the Colorado River. Everyone got time for photos, the boat was comfortable and the 3 in our group all felt this trip was well worth the $45 plus tax/pp charge. This is a trip that should not be missed while in LHC. The desert scenery is stark but beautiful in its own way. The history of the paddlewheelers was fascinating. Well done guys!

“Great Overall Day”
Reviewed 5 May 2012

Our group of 38 people took a tour from Lake Havasu to Needles and had lunch at the Pirates Cove Resturant. The scenery through the rocky section of the river was fantastic and the tour was very informative as it was narrated all the way back. Captian Ken slowed down and circled at all the sites along the way so we could take pictures. We saw some Mountain Sheep, one lone Mule, a ferrel Wild Pig, many Ducks and a lone Bald Eagle.fishing on the river. The final consensus was very favorable from the whole group and we are looking forward to taking another tour next winter to the Southern end of the lake.
