“Dirty Bug Infested Rooms!”
Reviewed 18 July 2009

I would never stay in this Inn again! The rooms are out dated, dirty and bug infested. The lock on the door would not work we were locked out four times needing new keys which they did not want to replace! Plus the door had a huge crack in it as if it had been broken before. After a long day on the lake we came back to our room to find a HUGE cockroach in the bathroom! The Cove to park boats is not as big as photos show and if you have an expensive boat be sure to get there early or they will put you on the rocks. A man we were traveling with had SEVERAL thousands of dollars of damage done to his $200,000+ boat after the manager or owner of the "resort" told him it was the only place to park his boat and it wold be safe to park there. We were outraged by the way these people treated all of us! The pool and hot tub were disgusting! There were 4-5 teens in the hot tub when we walked by to check it out and they were not even guests of the Inn they did leave with the towels from the pool area as they needed them to use while they changed in the car. One plus was the turtle beach bar! A fun place to eat and drink.... and you will need to drink if you stay here.

We have been staying at the Nauticial Inn for thr last six years and average for four stays per yerar.
It by no means is the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. But it's the only beachfront property in Havasu.
It is very easy to launch your water toys with there own launch ramp. And after a day on the lake it's very easy to beach your boat or PWC right in front of your room.
We always stay in a beach suite, they come with two plasma TV, refrigator, coffee maker and microwave. They all have been redone and for a beach resort they are comfordable.
They have a great bar in the Naked Turtle, which is a great place to unwind after a day on the lake and is right on the water.
They have a resaurant, convience store and boat/PWC rentalson property.

This is a quite ok beach front hotel. Rooms are quite simple but they are all facing the river and comes with a balcony.

The rooms are vastly over priced, out dated, and have no amenities. They provide wireless internet but you have to call the front desk , which rarely picks up, to get a new password and user name every time. There is no room service, no movie rental and they don't even provide bathroom soap. Everything is from 1990 or earlier and even the outside chairs are falling apart from rust. I will NEVER stay here again!

We were most impressed with the facilities. Room was bright, clean and most comfortable. Views are fantastic. Restaurant serves good meals. Would have no problem recommending this facility.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Nautical Inn when we went there for a 2 day Shriner's convention during the Lake Havasu Days Parade in October. We are both 40 ish.

I was expecting an old, out-dated, neglected, dump. I was prepared to just deal with it because we didn't get to choose the hotel. I was SO pleasantly surprised with our accomodations. We had a nicely remodeled room with 2 queen beds and another room with a sleeper sofa. I woudln't call our room a suite because there were no doors for privacy between the rooms but none-the-less, there was plenty of room and it was a lovely and modern suite. Bathrooms had granite countertops. We had 2 flat screen TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the little living room. There was a nice, small patio / balcony overlooking the river. The view was wonderful. I had no complaints about our room accomodations at all.

The grounds were nicely maintained, really nice grassy areas, sand volleyball pit, a really happening bar / restaurant on the river. It seemed like the place to be, we didn't get to spend any time there, but, we saw several boats dock at the resort just to go hang out at the bar.

We did see some of the rooms that were not remodeled as we visited others in our group. Those rooms were definitely dated but they were not awful.

We had 2 meals at the hotel, a luncheon we had an oriental chicken salad and it was very good. Dinner we had a buffett style meal with chicken and some beef, several vegies, potatos, rolls, etc. The food was good, nothing special but not bad either. These meals were done by the catering staff since they were for large groups. I would have liked to try the food at the bar but we did not have a chance.

Next year, we'll be back!

This hotel was so awful, we almost checked out the same night we checked in. The only reason we didn't, was because it would be a 5-hour drive through the desert at night, so we drank our way through it. And I don't drink. First of all, they tacked a $15 "resort fee" onto the price of the hotel that they failed to mention during reservation. The fee covers, among other things, the Water Park, but they only allow you to use it for 1/2 hour. You may "purchase" more time in the water if you so desire. However, we didn't have that opportunity because there was a chain across the entrance and a sign stating it was closed. Great. The entire "resort", to use the term loosely, was crammed with about 2,000 screaming partyers. Every boat had different music blasting from it -- rap, country, rock, etc., all competing against each other. The room itself was a dump, which looked like it was spit out of a way-back machine from 1972. Very depressing; old, cheap, stained, really ugly stuff they threw in there. Upon unwrapping the handsoap, it crumbled in my hand, so apparently it had been there since 1972, as well. There was a sign warning about the water being brown. Lovely. The msg machine was blinking and had 5 old messages on it for a previous tenant. This is a hot town, 100- plus degrees in summer, and there was not a tree or bush in sight, accept for some shadeless Palm trees. The place is all cement blocks and pavement. The buildings are strangely painted in bright, gaudy colors. But the worst thing about this place was when I checked out, the woman told me to wait while she radioed a staff member to check my room to see if I'd damaged it during my 1-night stay. I pretty much told her to shove it and took my receipt. She said she'd notify me if they found that I'd trashed it. I'm 60 years old. All this fun cost me $210, unless they try to blame some old broken down faucet or stain on me. I'll let you know.

  • Liked — Leaving it behind me on my way home.
  • Disliked — Noise, room, staff, beds, appearance -- all of it.
