Owner description: Meropa Casino and Entertainment World is situated in the Limpopo Province only 5km from the capital Polokwane (previously Pietersburg). Polokwane means place of safety and this is characterised by the ancient baobab trees which guard the vast expanses of mountains and bushveld. The Limpopo Province is a land of dramatic contrasts illustrated by the age-old indigenous forests, ancient mountain fortresses and luxury modern day facilities. An area where the juxtaposition of old and new never ceases to amaze, it is a land of legend and romance that will intrigue visitors with tales of ancient tribes and fearless pioneers who braved the unknown in the days of old. To this day the province is the home of the enigmatic rain queen who, as the legend of her people proclaim, has the mystical power to make rain.Much of the land, particularly in the Kruger National Park and other game and nature reserves, is unspoilt providing sanctuary to large numbers of game. And for those who wish to experience the thrill of Africa in a more tangible style, Meropa Casino offers visitors a different adventure.

Good one, people must not expect it the Casino to be like Las Vegas in the USA or Macau in China. By its standard, the location and clients its services it is quite good. Five Star for you Meropa

Upon entering this casino environment one experienced a sense of excitement. We found the casino to be professionally run and the overall level of housekeeping was very good. We did however feel that the tables become far too crowded after sunset, and more tables should be opened then.
Since visiting this casino they regularly send me updates on promotions being run there.

Disliked waiting in the line service poor and food not up to standard. Place lends to having a shop or two . Toilet facilities not up to public standard. Service slow

Unless you are staying at the Town Lodge and want dinner, there is no reason to visit the Casino & entertainment world, unless you are a gambler. Had a good steak at the Harvest restaurant though. The casino itself is unimpressive and kitchy.
