This place leaves a mixture of feelings as the title indicates.
Very rustic with solid wooden doors and furniture although there is lots of modern mixed into this. Centrally located it is near the CBD, industrial area and close enough to a very large mall with lots of eateries.
I will return and certainly recommend to friends and colleagues.

This is a very strange place. Half of it is quite cozy, the other half looks like a motel... I was surprised to find such a large parking area in the middle of everything.
This place is decorated with a range of artwork, which is nice.
I had a very large room (one of the poshest ones, quite pricey) with an Indian/colonial decoration, but it was not as superb as it could be, with an ugly fridge and a plastic dustbin in the middle of everything. There is definitively not that much attention to detail.
One positive thing is that they made dinner for me on a Sunday night, which was quite good but quite expensive as well.
And I must add that I have been surprised to be billed R50 for the wifi connection (I guess it's better when you are told beforehand what it would cost) ... and I had to pay R20 for a coffee, which is fairly expensive for South Africa (where most b&b offer you that kind of drinks for free) - but the coffee was good.
All in all, it could be a very nice place, but it is not.

I have been staying here while on business up in Polokwane for almost two years. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff always friendly and helpful. I always get up to leave before breakfast and the hosts consequently pack one of the best "lunches to go". My favourite place in Polokwane

A very friendly place to stay in Polokwane! Large, comfortable rooms, artistically decorated. The owners made us feel very welcome. Not a standard hotel, but a home away from home.
Very cheap and fast wifi internet.
The restaurant was fully booked, so we were given directions to a place nearby. Perfect tip!
Ask the owners!

Close to main highway.
Large eating area, but be sure you get there well before closing time as they don't restock towards end time.

We had 2 floor VERY large room with sitting area on main floor, with smallish bathroom -toilet, sink, shower, microwave, fridge, TV

There was a conference going on when we got the last room there, of about 20 of their total rooms. So ours was near the front of the coutyard. Quite a big complex. We had a patio with table outside that wasn't too private.

Upstairs was the bed with small TV. Couldn't figure out the aircon. We were only there 1 night so couldn't be bothered to ask, as it was bearable.

They have internet vouchers but we couldn't get signed on so explained that when we checked out and got our rand back without any issue.

Also (stupidly) forget credit card after checked out and they called us immediately!
Thanks so much.
