The staff at this hotel (everyone) is generally very pleasant and friendly. The food is a reasonable quality and there are good drinks and meal specials. The most frustrating thing about my stay was the lack of internet connection. The only place that has wireless is the business centre and that did not work. No-one was to concerned about this fact except me. You can't run a business and conference centre without Wireless in the whole hotel. Also, I would have liked to have an international news channel on the TV.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are very noisy. Ask to be put somewhere quiet.

Would not stay here again. Prepaid online through their website with booking confirmation and payment receipt and they still didn’t find my booking and it took over 30 minutes to check in with even trying to change the rate on me at one point. Humbulani is very nice but definitely not trained to be solution oriented and offered no concession for the inconvenience. I booked an Executive Suite that was supposed to have an adjacent living area and I went back down to the front desk to ask about it and he said “oh, they have the door locked between the rooms?” and never sent anyone to unlock it. I had to ask again after having lunch.

Room was sprayed with an insane amount of air freshener that make it noxious. I think they were trying to mask the smoking and call it a non-smoking room. Terrible for a non-smoker and/or anyone who is very sensitive to smells and chemicals. It made me nauseous.

Sheets were ripped and the desk chair badly stained like someone had peed on it. I felt afraid of bed bugs and sanitary conditions even though overall it seemed ok and the décor was pretty decent.

The restaurant was playing dance music in the middle of the day on mega speakers with a sub woofer that reverbed throughout the entire hotel. It was so obnoxious I wanted to slit my own throat.

Went to have lunch at the restaurant by the pool and three filthy stinky men sat themselves down at my table and one started talking to me and even grabbed my glass of water and drank from it. I went and asked the manager why they let people in that are so dirty and stinky (everyone else was rather dressed up like it was their weekend getaway and a chance to show off) and harass the guests. His response was “I thought they were with you”. This was after I had been there for an hour.

The only good thing about the restaurant was the cheap Castle Lager on tap (and several other beers) and Jakes, the server. He was a good young kid.

I couldn’t wait to get out of there and left at 4:30 am.

chefs were the best, rooms were very clean except for few areas that needs renovations. wadrobe doors should be made available for all the rooms. Atleast two toilet papers should be available. DSTV Channels like one gospel, Africa magic should be available.

We have had the fortune to visit Khoroni, on 4 occasions, in 2013.

They are blessed with a beautiful hotel, excellent conference venues, a great restaurant and stunning people! And a beautiful fertile countryside!

We stayed in the luxury rooms and they were fantastic!

Room Tip: Book into one of the rooms between 1 and 10!

The hotel reflects, what in my view, are the high standards of the hospitality industry in South Africa generally - great value for money; excellent staff service; great food! For a 3-star facility, I think I received 5-star value.

Room Tip: Tricky getting the shower to work - many provide a little indication for guests?

Nice and clean, warm welcome. Food was nice and well prepared. Keep it up.
You need to work on the parking lot as it is very limited and it looks old as if it is not well taken care of. The overall atmosphere was superb
