“Awesome views...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

What an absolutely amazing and awesome view! If you're spending time in Mpumalanga then take the time to stop over and complete this walk....or should I say hike :) While steep and rather tiring in the sun...the view at the top is definitely worth it. There is a small community run craft market in the parking area (parking cost at ZAR10 - less than 1 USD depending on the exchange rate at the time). For the most part the walk paved and in some areas there are steps....but there are a few places where this is not the case. This walk is overall not that strenuous....my 70 year old mum made it up....granted with loads of stops...but she got there!

“Awesome View”

Slight hike uphill but definately worth the view. It might be a bit difficult for the elderly folk. Once you get to the top you will need to catch your breath whole enjoying the stunning view. Try and do this site on a clear day.

“Must stop!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

Wonderful view! We are really glad we stopped. Pretty walk and it's amazing. We were lucky and went on a clear day. When you pull in there is a little place to pay a fee. I believe it was 10 rand. In the parking lot there's many areas for sellers. We bought a few things there.

“Gods Window”

The walk to the top is definately not for the unfit, however, the view is well worth it at the top. There are plenty of places to rest ,however, good walking shoes are recommended. Its also a good idea to carry some water.

“Great view at the top of the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

Very clever title! However, the view is to die for and makes you feel like you are at the top of the world. If you follow the steps up towards the rainforrest, the view is even better from the top but it is a bit of a walk and possibly not for the unfit. Good excercise though, and highly recommended especially as most of your time is spent in the car.
