“Awesome view!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

When you are done with Kruger Park, head up here. The views are spectacular, and the trip up is worth the time. There is a beautiful canyon and 360 degree views. It's worth the walk in and the time, and there are even souvenirs that can be purchased there. The public bathrooms aren't the greatest, so if you can avoid them, all the better.

“What a view!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

It is a beautiful stop on the way to Johannesburg from Krueger Park. The location has 2 overlook points. If you climb the steps for about 5 min it opens to a huge panorama of the Krueger Park. Excellent place to take photos. There are no adequate bath room facilities. One stall and not functioning. No beverage sale either. The souvenir stands have very nice wood carvings at reasonable prices.

“God's Window, God's Story!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Now.....that is well worth the drive, the hike up the mountain and whatever else you will do to get to Mpumalanga. We went on a clear day in the dry season of June 2014. I suggest visitors should try and allow for a full day or day and a half to take in the beauty and whole length and breadth of Blyde River Canyon. You don't want to rush Mpumalanga. Enjoy the rolling mountains and yes..try for good weather.Mpumalanga is about the the scenic drives. The entry fees are ridiculously worth it

“Awesome views...”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

What an absolutely amazing and awesome view! If you're spending time in Mpumalanga then take the time to stop over and complete this walk....or should I say hike :) While steep and rather tiring in the sun...the view at the top is definitely worth it. There is a small community run craft market in the parking area (parking cost at ZAR10 - less than 1 USD depending on the exchange rate at the time). For the most part the walk paved and in some areas there are steps....but there are a few places where this is not the case. This walk is overall not that strenuous....my 70 year old mum made it up....granted with loads of stops...but she got there!
