Kwambali Riverside Lodge
Certificate of Excellence

We bought a two night stay on groupon and it was the best investment ever! Quiet, comfortable, clean and very friendly service.

The accommodation is nice and spacious self catering units with everything you need supplied. We stayed in a unit that accommodates 4 people and it was perfect.

Will most definitely go again!

Our family has been going to Kwambali Riverside Lodge many times over the last 11 years. It is truly a spot of paradise to us. We love the setting next to the Sabie River & the feel of the thatched roof lodges. The more recent owners have done so many lovely improvements to the grounds & the lodges. The owners & their help went out of their way during our recent stay to cater a most delicious & memorable evening braai for our family & a group of university students that we took there. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere of the evening was absolutely perfect. They served us under the thatched roof restaurant with small spotlights & lanterns giving such a warm atmosphere. What wonderful memories! Kwambali feels like our home away from home.

I was on a business trip. Stayed in this property for 8 days. No words to describe the beautiful locale. Situated on the sabie riverside surrounded with lots of trees and a small citrus garden, an awesome lodge but yhe catch is it is a self catering. Friendly and very helpful owner. Fully secured with round the clock security. There is a coffee shop within walkable distance serves tasty breakfast and lunch. If you are lucky you can sight wild hippos grazing in lawn!!!

We had a lovely time. The service was great. The river flowing next to the rooms was amazing and we felt so relaxed. We used Kwambali as our center point for seeing all the sights around. The steak at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. It was undoubtably one of the best we have had in a long time. We will definitely go back again.

Sandra and I would like to thank everyone at Kwambali lodge for a great stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home and by the time we left we felt like part of the family.
We'll definitely be back next year, so have number 5 ready for us!

We recently spent an amazing four days at Kwambali Lodge.
Going to sleep with the sound of the river and waking up to birdsong in the morning was exactly what we needed to help us relax and de-stress.
We would like to thank the owners and staff for treating us like royalty - you guys deserve SIX stars. The food was exquisite (best breakfast we've EVER had!).
We'll definitely be back and will recommend Kwambali to all our friends and family.

Room Tip: The chalets are all spaced far enough apart for privacy.
