Really enjoyed our stay here.

The facilities are well looked after and we experienced friendly service.

I can even recommend early morning runs around the beautiful golf course.

We will definitely be back!

I make an annual trip to the Kruger Park and usually stay at the Kruger Park Lodge. Situated just outside the Park (only a few Kms from Phabeni Gate) it offers everything you need. A veritable home from home! To those of you who always take along a decent bottle opener and a sharp knife - don't bother. It's taken care of and then some. The accommodation is well appointed and very comfortable. Last year I deviated from the norm and stayed inside the Park (dismal, tired and badly equipment chalets) and I was sorry. KPL is my haven.

We stayed here for two nights. It was close enough to Kruger Park Reserve that we went in everyday. We also booked a night drive at the Phabeni gate. . The lodge has a very nice restaurant as well as a lovely short walking trail next to the river. Great place to just relax. If you play golf pack your clubs.

We stayed at Kruger Lodge for a weekend and my 7year old daughter was impressed with the boks running around the lodge. Our unit was just next to the river, neat 3 bedroom with excellent facilities. They have a bit of everything you need in a self-catering accommodation including key appliances, including a dishwasher (my favourite). I didn't have time to put the dished in the washer on our first day though because we were running late for an appointment and when we got back, the unit was clean and everything was washed.

The sound of the flowing river is amazing at night, we had such peaceful sleep that we couldn't wake up early in the morning.

They have lovely patio furniture and we had our meals outside with the refreshing view of the river.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, I lost something in the parking lot and they left their offices late evening to go and look on my behalf which was very thoughtful.

We didn't have time to explore the pool area and golf course so we will definitely return.

We booked this through flexiclub, so when we got here it was sight unseen. Though we could see there were a lot of lovely units on the property, the ones we got were not so great. The units in the 80's are very small, and the top units are reached with a rather steep wooden staircase. If you are like me and my mom, a little creaky due to bad knees and an ankle op in my case, this is definitely not ideal. Getting everything up and down the staircase was a nightmare. The unit itself had everything you needed, a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a bath, bedroom with a double bed and a lounge with a sleeping couch. It has a nice balcony with a braai. However, everything is quite small and this was not taken into account when choosing the kitchen furniture. We had to move some of the chairs just so we did not have to inch ourselves around the table every time, as they were in the way. We had to request that they fix the DSTV 3 times before it was done permanently, and then they said the first 2 calls had not been logged properly. As I had called reception on all 3 occasions i found this puzzling. The staff were very friendly on all occasions we interacted with them. We could see that with the bigger units, your stay here would be bliss.

Our kids absolutely love this place, our unit is very close to the kids play area, which consists of a VERY impressive play gym and two ground floor trampolines, not to mention the mini-golf! So our kids had the freedom to walk from our unit to the play area everyday! A huge plus for parents with small kids! This property offers relaxation and tranquility for parents, and an aboslutely play paradise for kids!
