Description: A visit to Zest will not only tantalise your taste buds, but spoil you with a visual feast of sweeping Lowveld panoramas with a charming country feel. The restaurant is situated on a farm in the hills above Nelspruit – about fifteen minutes from the centre of town – and is surrounded by large peaceful gardens with spectacular views of the Mpumalanga bushveld.

Zest is tucked away in the rolling hills of the lowveld located located on an Avocado farm with stunning views. Eating lunch or dinner either inside the restaurant or on the deck each has its own feeling of uniqueness. The food and wine menus are carefully and thoughtfully prepared to offer dining of the highest quality whilst ensuring constant variety for the restaurants regular visitors. This being especially important when considering the limited choices of fine dining in the Nelspruit region. GT as he is affectionately known is in my opinion truly a master chef. The food and wine prices are perfectly matched to the quality and choice. Making this venue affordable and one to be visited often.

Zest has a superb setting, the food has always been very good. The wine tastings they have frequently are well worth trying. You need to book especially on a Sunday for lunch.
It is well worth the experience.

Zest catered for our wedding and two years later guests are still talking about the food... Paid a visit to Zest on our anniversary and we were not disappointed!

Did stay at Kavinga Guesthouse for a couple of nights. Had 3 times dinner at Zest Restaurant. Food was DELICIOUS. You should try the mussels as appetizer and pork neck or aged beef as main dish. Excellent. Staff is very friendly.
