From arranging our tour with Bev via email, transferring to and from Durban and during our tours and safaris we were looked after.
Right from reception we were submerged in old world charm with the rooms and staff topping off the experience.
The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming making us feel very safe.
The rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable large beds and large bathrooms.
Breakfasts were scrumptious and delightful with our dietary needs catered for thoroughly and the house staff Thea, Lee and Zanelle looking after us like royalty.
We enjoyed every moment of our trip as we compiled a custom package which included an extra safari as well as a horse ride on the beach and in the bush with the zebras.
Theo, Jabu and Bheki conducted our safaris their knowledge of the area and animals was unmatched, making us feel very safe and comfortable. The guides work hard to get you the best animal viewing.
Theo had an immense knowledge of the animals in the wetlands and Imfolozi, Mission Rocks and Cape Vidal allowing us the opportunity to snap some very memorable photos. While Jabu had an outstanding repertoire of bird knowledge and calls associated with the uMkuze game reserve. Bheki showed us the most beautiful sunset over the wetlands and found a family of elephants crossing our path allowing some excellent photographs.
We saw so many animals and birds on each of our safaris, the only one we missed seeing was the illusive leopard. The scenery in the parks is breathtaking.
St Lucia is a vibrant small town hosting numerous restaurants within easy walking distance to our accomodation. We were sad to leave. Saint Lucia has left an indelible mark on our hearts.
