Roger and Cecelia made our stay an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The setting, the open fire, the quiet and peaceful surroundings immediately soothed the soul. The hospitality shown by Roger and the delicious meals provided by Cecelia make this Lodge as "Must see" in the Lowveld. Thanks from the whole team.

I have never stayed at a lodge before so wasn't sure what to expect, but, if all lodge stays are as good as this, I'm sold!! I was travelling with a group of 18 others from New Zealand and stayed 2 nights on our way to Kruger and 1 on our return. The owners, Roger and Cecilia were very friendly and made you feel 'right at home'. The environment is beautiful - lovely garden and pool, lounge area to relax by the fire (lit each night); sitting out on the spacious deck having drinks at sunset - superb! The rooms are well appointed with attention to detail - fresh flowers, thermos with cold drinking water and very clean. The best part - the food, which is definitely 5-star quality! This place is a tiny bit of paradise!

We stayed here one night before departing from Nelspruit. We have our first night of real rest since we arrived in South Africa

Service: The staff are all friendly and responded to our requests timely. Great breakfast!
Value: Definitely worth the price!
Environment: The area is quiet, relaxing and discrete. Lovely garden~ There are multiple books to keep you occupied for hours beside the big fireplace~
Cleanliness: 5 stars! the rooms, the common areas, the pool!
Location: We had trouble finding the place and ended up circling around (...our tour guide was just driving around without GPS... luckily we found it!)
Rooms: Spacious and comfortable. Biggest shower in all the places we stayed in SA~

This review is long overdue. A lovely destination for families, couples and solo travelers. The close proximity to both airport, Kruger Park and Town allow for the tranquility of the quite country side and the convenience needed when travelling with children (5 minutes to Pick 'n Pay for nappies at 6 p.m) Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, relaxed and well maintained. Superb!

I was lucky to stay at Seringa recently during a long holiday weekend. Roger and Cecelia were wonderful and handled the changing demands of a multi-family party all in stride. The place was very child-friendly, but also comfortable enough that discerning solo travelers and couples would clearly enjoy it here too. The rooms are very comfortable, staff super friendly, and the meals prepared by Cecelia were delicious. The owners were knowledgable about surrounding events and activities. Seringa is a fabulous place to both stay and lounge for a while, and explore nearby activities. I have stayed at countless lodges during twenty years of intermittent travel, and Seringa definitely ranks near the very top for quaint, friendly, and easy places to stay.
