“If you're thinking of booking - pick this one!”

As a couple with a toddler and mother along for the trip we needed somewhere with a good amount of space, that was secure and like a home from home. We couldn't have asked for more with this choice. The owner has young children so there is pretty much everything toddler could want, high chair, loads of toys! Cot, kids bowls and spoons.

Met by the agent who was in the process of handing over to a new colleague which meant it was a little fragmented but they helped settle us in. Not a deal breaker but after a long journey and if you don't know the area (luckily I did) a welcome pack would be great. Bake it into the price, but having milk, bread, water etc upon arrival is the kind of touch that would make the stay even better.

We did have problems with the washing machine and pressure from the bath, not sure if this was something that happen when we arrived or previously but the handling of it was impressive and both were fixed fairly quickly.

Layout wise it's great. A really good kitchen, big living room and 2 large bedrooms on the main floor with a terrace. On the plunge pool level there is an annex with its own access which is really handy. Am

Security wise we felt totally fine. The area is safe and its gated with garage parking. We came and went night and day and didn't feel worried in the slightest.

A short walk to a good selection of shops - tip for the future, update the guest manual with a few helpful hints like where to find spar (they are like sainsburys) and woolworths (the M&S of South Africa)

A great coffee place is just out the apartment left and left towards bantry bay called bootleggers - how I wish this kind of place translated over to the UK.

A restaurant tip if you're looking - Kloof street house on Kloof street (20 min uber away) is exceptional.

All in all we loved the stay and would definitely choose again in the future

“Amazing home in the heart of Cape Town”
Reviewed 6 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We absolutely loved our stay at Storeleigh. Sarah and her property manager Robyn were super easy to work with and responsive. The home is beautifully decorated, bright and comfortable. There are loads of kids toys, a baby cot and high chair which is invaluable if you are traveling with small children. Grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops are around the corner. Getting two and from the major attractions in Cape Town by car was a breeze and convenient with parking spot included. Overall we can't recommend Storeleigh enough!

Reviewed 29 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

As a family of 4 we stayed at storeleigh apartment over Easter, it is a well very equipped and clean apartment, with secure parking. It's a great location close to Camps Bay and V&A.

Jogging by the ocean.

“Brilliant location - fantastic rental - look no further!!”

We stayed from Dec 21, 2014 through Jan 1, 2015 - my family of 4 (kids ages 15 and 11) and my parents who stayed in the granny flat downstairs - private and very comfortable. The apartment itself is very nice with all the necessary amenities to makes one's holiday comfortable - washer, dryer, dishwasher, internet, parking, gas Weber grill, Nespresso coffee maker which is a nice touch. The pool is great as is the back outside patio with views of Lions Head. Bedroom one has ocean views, but at a distance. The location of this rental in Bantry Bay is excellent - close enough to grocery stores and some restaurants to walk which is very convenient, close to Clifton (can walk) and Camps Bay. One can walk a few minutes and you are at the Queens/Saunders Rock beach and promenade. Quick drive and you are over the Kloof to table mountain and town. Bottom line - this location is really excellent.

The owner (Sarah) is easy to deal with and a good prompt communicator (did not meet her and everything was done via email/phone). There were a couple of things we needed while there and she was attentive to them. The agent she uses to open the apartment and hand off keys was okay - did not have much interaction.

The lady we used to clean the apartment (used by the owner) is very nice and did a nice job.

In summary, the space is very nice and roomy and comfortably sleeps 6 (perhaps 8-10 using a pull out couch and 4 in the granny flat). I would recommend it and would rent it again on a subsequent visit to Cape Town.

“Perfect pied-a-terre in Cape Town”

We stayed at the G2 Storeleigh apartment from Dec. 15 to 20, 2014. We could have not been happier. The location is excellent, and easy to reach, with grocery stores, good restaurants, beaches, Clifton and Camps Bay all close by. Dealing directly with the owner was a pleasurable experience. The apartment is in excellent condition, and has everything one could wish for, including a lot of baby stuff (even though we do not have babies). The pool and terrace areas are particularly cozy. It was nice to come back to relax there at the end of our days in Cape Town. Parking garage and Internet were a great convenience too. Beds were firm, and duvets very comfortable. There was bubble bath in the bathrooms, and a plunger coffee maker besides the Nespresso machine in the kitchen. We were also offered the possibility of hiring a housekeeper, for a small additional fee, which we did. We really had a wonderful stay and we hope we can return to this same place in the future.

“Amazing!!”
Reviewed 7 April 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We travelled with 1 toddler and the place was absolutley perfect, very close to the beach and shops ( as well as great baby sitting services)

We loved the pool for the toddler during the day when the beach was too hot.
Plus, there is lots of room to accomodate friends for a BBQ

We cant wait for our next holiday there
