“One the best places on Camps Bay”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

The Grand café is one of my two favorite places on the Camp Bay strip. Tasty easy food and some pasta dishes which you don’t get like that in camps bay.
The drinks are very competitively priced and the cocktails are splendid. Compared to other places on the strip: you get less of the feeling of being crowded on the terrace.
The service is good and friendly

“First night dinner after 12 hour flight”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

It was a hot evening - the restaurant was packed outside and deserted inside where we were given out table. The food was OK and the wines as always great value. The staff were friendly and the service from our waiter was quite good.

There were some good choices on the menu and the staff were knowledgeable about the wine! It gets busy, so book ahead!

“Great for sundowners”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

This has to be one of the best spots in Camps Bay to watch the sun go down. On top on this, the drinks are reasonably priced. Sadly, the one area in which the restaurant disappointed was service - we has to wait over 15 minutes before our waiter noticed us, despite it not being a busy evening. That level of poor quality attention continued for the duration of our stay and hence we decided not to have a meal there. We will, however, be back for sundowners.

“Table with a view”
Reviewed 28 February 2014

This spot really does have a great approach to customer service - and the food is consistently good. That said, even if the food and service were absolutely horrible (and trust me it will not be), the table that you occupy would be well worth the visit - I mean how can you beat a view of Camps Bay?
