“Good place to stay”
Reviewed 30 June 2012

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are massive and well furnished. Its located at stones throw from the Camps Bay beach.

Staff are very nice especially Michael- who helped me a lot during our stay here.

There is no internet in the room- even after complaining several times- nothing was done during our stay to get the weak wi-fi signal sorted. I had to go to the common breakfast area to access internet which was not so nice.

The basin sink in my room was clogged- I have to complain several times before the drainage pipe was cleaned.

Room Tip: All rooms in this hotel are excellent but I can most certainly vouch for room1.

Nice views. Right on the beach. Good restaurants very close by. The staff were very hospitable. Our rooms were ready way ahead of time.

Large rooms and great views of the ocean and beach.

We stayed at Primi Seacastle for 3 nights in a room with seaview. The Hotel as an amazing view, it is situated in Camps Bay where you can walk to the beach and to many nice restaurants. We loved to sit at the room balcony, drinking wine and watching the sundown.
The staff is also nice and we enjoyed our stay.
We recommend it to anyone travelling to Camps Bay.

We arranged a pick up via hotel which was R350. Staff very friendly on arrival introducing us to other guests. It is only a small hotel with about 10 rooms. We stayed in a standard, and it was huge!! Massive comfy bed, flat screen tv, small balcony with table and chairs, big bathroom with separate bath and shower. In room safe, tea/coffee making facilities, loads of wardrobe space. Air conditioning too which was fairly quiet and worked well! We had had a 36 hour journey so we didn't really feel like socialising, so we asked Marshall to  order some take out from the menu in our room, and we ate in our room. There is a small pool overlooking the ocean, with some sun loungers, and  a restaurant. There is a computer for guest use, and free wifi, our signal disappeared in our room but maybe it was ok in others - worked perfectly in reception area tho! They can arrange all sorts of tours for you at reception and lots of bars & restaurants near by. Breakfast was included and was delicious!! Beach is just across the road so you can sit on the terrace and people watch!

The hotel has views looking out over Camps Bay, right on the front, bit difficult to find due to the hotel sign being covered by undergrowth, small swimming pool (not used while I was there) but an ideal base if you like sitting around on the beach posing, or eating moderate food people watching. I liked Cape Town better than Camps Bay, but then I'm an old fart.
The hotel had some wonderful rooms with sea view, and some without. Unfortunately I got one without, in fact without a window at all! We had one exit through a glass door so fire regulations concerned me. The room was fine, but all you could do was sleep in it. Other rooms were good, so try to avoid room #6! Breakfast was OK, shaky tables and a bit cramped, so they lose some marks for that. The host, Michael, more than made up for it, he was cheerful, joking, eager to help, and a problem solver, always ready to give advice, and his opinion. Good egg! If i was to return to Camps Bay, I would have no problem staying here as long as I didn't get room 6!

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get room #6
