“Great spot for a honeymoon!”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

We stayed here for 8 nights on honeymoon and had a brilliant time! All the staff were brilliant! Even ringing us one morning to see if we were coming down for breakfast because we were running a bit late!
The location was brilliant, right on one end of the camp's bay "strip" so you knew you weren't missing out on anything when you left the hotel
As for Michael, I've never met anyone like him, definitely suited to the hotel trade! He met us with a g lass of champagne on arrival as we were 1 of 4 honeymoon couples checking in , all off the same flight! The rest of the weeks stay was spent chatting to the other guests at breakfast about their plans for the day and then meeting up for a beer (or managers special when Michael couldn't be bothered adding to the tab!) every night to catch up on the day!
Michael is a mine of information about everything tourist, even down to recommending which vineyards to visit in stellenbosch and which to pass one. He always has local wines in the fri
Due, and the beers always cold!
we had an amazing stay, and can't wait for our "second honeymoon" in camps bay!,!!!

Room Tip: Please don't misunderstand the marks for restaurant and fitness centre, there's a breakfast...

This is a small hotel where all rooms except two face the ocean with view of same. We had an inside room on the main floor so the terrace with swimming pool was a few steps away. The view from the terrace and the other rooms is just breathtaking. The hotel does have a breakfast area where they serve breakfast every morning. There is also a bar in the same area. It was never a problem bringing your own drinks out on the terrace and quite often the manager, Michael, would join you in a lively conversation. It is as close you can get to a family run hotel. Some reviewers have complained about the WI FI, I would like to add that the back rooms, like the one we had did not have WI FI. For us it was no problem, all you had to do was go to the breakfast area or better yet sit on the terrace and enjoy the spectacular view while checking your email. The staff especially Michael was very helpful when asked about how to get here or there. One block away are several great restaurants. Although at first the hotel seems as if it is very far from downtown Cape Town, but the local mini busses gets you there in ten to fifteen minutes. The cost is only 7 Rand p/p each way. There is no doubt that we would return to this hotel.

Room Tip: If you want to be sure to have an ocean view room phone the hotel directly, do not rely on internet...

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are massive and well furnished. Its located at stones throw from the Camps Bay beach.

Staff are very nice especially Michael- who helped me a lot during our stay here.

There is no internet in the room- even after complaining several times- nothing was done during our stay to get the weak wi-fi signal sorted. I had to go to the common breakfast area to access internet which was not so nice.

The basin sink in my room was clogged- I have to complain several times before the drainage pipe was cleaned.

Room Tip: All rooms in this hotel are excellent but I can most certainly vouch for room1.

Nice views. Right on the beach. Good restaurants very close by. The staff were very hospitable. Our rooms were ready way ahead of time.

Large rooms and great views of the ocean and beach.

We stayed at Primi Seacastle for 3 nights in a room with seaview. The Hotel as an amazing view, it is situated in Camps Bay where you can walk to the beach and to many nice restaurants. We loved to sit at the room balcony, drinking wine and watching the sundown.
The staff is also nice and we enjoyed our stay.
We recommend it to anyone travelling to Camps Bay.

We arranged a pick up via hotel which was R350. Staff very friendly on arrival introducing us to other guests. It is only a small hotel with about 10 rooms. We stayed in a standard, and it was huge!! Massive comfy bed, flat screen tv, small balcony with table and chairs, big bathroom with separate bath and shower. In room safe, tea/coffee making facilities, loads of wardrobe space. Air conditioning too which was fairly quiet and worked well! We had had a 36 hour journey so we didn't really feel like socialising, so we asked Marshall to  order some take out from the menu in our room, and we ate in our room. There is a small pool overlooking the ocean, with some sun loungers, and  a restaurant. There is a computer for guest use, and free wifi, our signal disappeared in our room but maybe it was ok in others - worked perfectly in reception area tho! They can arrange all sorts of tours for you at reception and lots of bars & restaurants near by. Breakfast was included and was delicious!! Beach is just across the road so you can sit on the terrace and people watch!
