I was not happy about the maintenance of the property. Bathroom was not very clean and shower had mildew. Bathroom was also very cramped. Service was okay. Parking and dining area was also cramped but lodge is in a good location with nice views.

This is a guest house and we were expecting a hotel. Although the room and en suite were very good and up to a good hotel standard, the facilities in the rest of the place were limited and poor. Only 2 poor sun beds and a small pool. Minuscule dining facilities and no lounges or places to sit.
It is definitely not suitable for people with mobility problems. Too many steps from top to bottom to get to the road. View is excellent and the breakfasts very good. You can have anything you want. The staff are extremely pleasant and Michael is fun. This is a young persons B & B.

Location, location location! The place is right next to great restaurants and the beach is just across the street. If you don't mind a bit tatty furniture here and there the place is still a good place to stay.

The staff at Primi Seacastle are extremely helpful and friendly.
The location is amazing, with views of Lions Head, Table Mountain, 12 Apostles, Camps Bay all from your room and the pool deck.
The room is perfectly clean and also very comfortable.
Recommend highly!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon and adored the location and view and hot tub on the balcony. My husband loved the food also as his favourite meal is from primi...you can order primi room service delivery!! Breakfast was also great. Only criticism was the parking is not very big and we had to keep moving our hired car. Would definitely recommend this cool hotel!

Room Tip: Try and get the sea view suite with hot tub!

Had an ok stay, nothing special.

Starting with the positives.

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage and check in later around 10pm after a day out. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Location, literally cross the road and you're on the beach. The hotel is on the end of Camps bay and is only a five minute walk to the restaurants and bars.

Room was spacious, and was kept clean. Although not an ocean view room (4) you can see the adlantic through a small window by the sofa.

We did ask for a late check out (post arrival) although we were told that this wasn't possible, the reception staff did say that we could leave our luggage and use the changing rooms whenever we needed to.

Negatives;

When we checked in we found that the shower door was hanging off completely! We reported this to reception but unfortunately nothing was done during our entire stay. We're quite easy going, however, I don't expect to have to hang the shower door myself when I stay at a hotel! maybe due to the time of year when we were staying, (2nd Jan onwards) there wasn't contractors available to fix the shower etc but I wouldn't have offered the room in that condition.

Taxi drivers booked through reception were expensive - 200 Rand from camps bay to the Waterfront each time. When we used Excite taxis (as used by La Rose in Bo Kaap) we paid 130 Rand.

The mini bar was re-stocked however, the teas and coffees and milk were not during the duration of our stay.

Overall, hotel was ok but didn't excite, would look for something else if I return to Camps Bay.

Room Tip: Use a different taxi firm than what reception use. We recommend Excite taxis.
