The terrace offers fab views over the beach whilst providing much needed shade. A great spot for lunch.

In Camps Bay over the Easter Week-end, we decided to try the Pepper Club- without any reservation , for lunch.
The actual restuarant is situation up from Paranga, and across from Blues, with seating both inside and outside on the balcony overlooking the beautiful Camps Bay Beach.
It seemed quite vibey, the balcony's tables looked reasonable full. we were shown to our table, a two seater , but when we sat down , mmediately coud see a previous patron hasd just eaten and the table had not been cleaned and reset correctly. I found that very off putting, and called a waiter to strip the top table cloth and bringnew glasses and cutlery - which he did.
Our waietr was prompt with bringing th ewine list, and that moment, we thought of getting up and leaving, but we decided to stay.
The menu was limited , but offered the basics like line fish which on the day had been Kingklip, butthe waietr informed us it's usualy Yellowtail. I had fish and chips, ina beer batter.
The white wine wasnt bad - but the meals werent great - i must admit. The fish and chips i had - wasnt great, with way too much batter around a sdmall piece of Hake. and way too many thin sliced chips. My friend had the kingclip, and did comment, that they pleasantly surprised , expecting something bad , but ended up saying it was an ok dish, we would go back- no. Was it value for money - no! Were the vies fantastic - yes absolutely, but we werer really dissapointed - they could have done so much better from greeting us at the top of the stairs, to seating us at a clean table, they definately need to remove the grotty piece of blue fabric draped over each table, and they need to hose down the balcony , clean the place up a bit - after all, it was peak season, and Camps Bay on that day was really busy. We finsihed our bottle of wine, paid our R500 bill and left. A shame really - as i had read a very good restuarant review in a magazine, which gave theis restuarant a good review- i must disagree!

Located on the strip in Camps Bay with a view over the beach and part of the Hotel with the same name we decided to have a late lunch at this eatery. They serve mainly seafood (sushi) but also some meat dishes. My guest had the wild mushroom Risotto while I enjoyed the grilled Cray Fish which came with a lemon beurre blanc. Both were excellent and well presented. The best however was the dessert which was a delicious Chocolate Fondant. The service was slow but ok.

The restaurant is a stunning location to sit and enjoy the Cape Town sunsets and watch the people go by.
I have no complaints about service or the meal. I was attended to promptly and my meal arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was good and I enjoyed my visit.
