Owner description: Just up Kloof Nek Road from the center of town is this thriving beach community. Plenty of trendy nightclubs, shops and cafes bring diners and shoppers, while tranquil seas and fine white sand draw sun worshippers and swimmers.

“Beautiful beach views and art”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

We came from the Signal Hill and were about to start the drive south to the southern points. The views that were offerred above, in and south of Camps Bay were great. You had to stop the car every 2 minutes. And then just outside the town, there were all these local people displaying and selling their art pieces. Unlike Livingstone, Zambia, for example - there was no pressure at all. You could simply walk, look and explore the items, without being put under immediate and direct pressure to buy. And this is of course the best way, to actually look and buy some great souvenirs which you haven't seen elsewhere. Also meeting those people and have some short conversations felt nice and great.

“White Sandy Scenic Beaches”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

Camp's Bay has white sandy beaches in a affluent area of Cape Town with lots of nice hotels plus trendy restaurants & bars which seems to attract a large number of visitors. Our favorite beach which is not mentioned on Trip Advisor so can not review it was Noordhoek Beach area which is a spectacular beach, white pristine beautiful, in our opinion the best beach in the area, almost no one was there on the day we where there, it was just lovely picturesque shoreline with long, wide, sandy beach, which stretches for quite aways. It was along a very scenic coastal road as we returned from our excursion to the Cape of Good Hope. Camp's Bay is lovely as well and of course quite windy!!

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

Passing traffic can be a bit noisy but the beach is large and clean with various activities and quiet areas. Pity the water is too cold for swimming but there is a seawater pool which may be a little warmer.

“Windy paradise”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

The beach (weekdays) is quite quiet and stunning. It gets a bit on the windy side in the afternoons though. The beach to see and be seen on. The sea is pretty lively and only for strong swimmers, but you just need to walk along the sea edge while admiring the view and the pretty SA girls.
