We stayed at this boutique hotel for one night only - wish we could have stayed longer. We were in one of the deluxe sea-facing rooms - it was very spacious and clean and nicely decorated - same goes for the bathroom. Breakfast was very good. My sister and her husband were upgraded to a superior room with a 4 poster bed because we mentioned that it was the last night of their holiday. Made the stay even more special. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and can recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our trip to SA. We were a little nervous when we saw the outside, but don't be! The service is very friendly, with Byron the manager, particularly welcoming & helpful in terms of advising on visits to attractions in CT. About 100m from beaches and a host of decent restaurants, including the Codfather. Breakfast was good & lots of variety. Bar open 24 hours a day. Despite the proximity to the Camps Bay beach the location was very quiet. Thoroughly recommended as a reasonably priced hotel in an expensive city.

Room Tip: Rooms 5 & 6 have great views of the ocean

We visited South Africa for 2 weeks and the Primi Royal was our base in Cape Town at the begining and end of our stay. The location was perfect for us, in the beautiful location of Camps Bay, far enough outside of Cape Town not to be swalloed up by the city, but still only a short taxi ride away (costs less than £10 to ride to the centrwe of the city). We were made very welcome by Byran and his team and felt totally at home, they were very helpful with reccommending great places to, organising taxis and airport transfers etc . The rooms were of a standard that were byond our expectations and we were delighted to be upgraded to a four-poster, panoramic sea view room for our last 2 nights there. Would love to go back

What a fantastic place to stay. Clean, comforatable and with a happy staff, eager to help you enjoy your stay.
Breakfast is of high standard whether cooked or fruit & croissants.
If it is your need, the bar is open 24hrs but with a lovely atmosphere and certainly no noise later at night. Bar prices and not at inflated Hotel prices.
Security is superb with main front door having cameras & entrance system.
The Manager Byron is an official Cape Tour Guide & supplies you with quality information and guidance, always keeping the current weather conditions in mind.
Byron has to be seen to be met, brilliant bloke with great sense of humour with a good business mind.
Having shared a beer with him and listened to his enthusiasm and energy, he would be a great "Mayor of Camps Bay".
The Hotel enjoys superb views and only last week I watched a whale from the Balcony ,having fun in the sea about 300 yards from the shore.
The Restaurants,Beach are about 400 yds from the front door of the Hotel.

Try Primi- Royal, you wont regret it

Room Tip: There are rooms that have there own Jaccuzi on the Balcony and room 1 has its own pool on the balcon...

This was the last stay on my holiday to S.A. On first impressions, it is a little dissapointing compared to the 4* hotels I had previously stayed in. Rooms are small and furniture a bit old. However the location is good and the staff are friendly. Had wonderful views of the sun setting.
You are 100m to the beach front. Food was good and the atomosphere relaxed.
