An excellent base for Camps Bay, Cape Town and surroundings. This must be one of the best located Boutique hotels with very high quality of finishings and service. Will definitely return.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we were made to feel special! The rooms are amazing, spotlessly clean with great character and design. The views are above fantastic both towards the mountains and the sea. The breakfast was unlimited in what you could have and arrived every day with the finest of produce and artistically arranged. The staff I cannot praise enough. From the manager Dale, through to the housekeepers and garden attendants, everyone was so polite, pleasant and nothing was ever too much trouble. We have travelled all over the world but this place is something special! When stranded by the volcano ash, they could not have been kinder or more accomodating and Greg the owner surpassed all our expectations. If you visit South Africa - this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed!

Small intimate beautiful boutique hotel with great breakfast and sunsets. Easy to meet fellow guests at cocktail hour and breakfast. Recommend the hotel's guided tours especially to the Cape of Good Hope. Little touches that make a difference.

The hotel truly is perfect in every way, mainly due to the attentiveness of the staff. The hotel feels safe and secure and the staff take you anywhere you want to go and collect you, for a small fee which is added to your bill. You will be near enough to Camps Bay to enjoy the beach, bars and restaurants but far enough up on the hill for spectacular views. We enjoyed this as the peaceful start to our holiday in Capetown. The sundowners are lovely and it is enjoyable to chat to the other guests. Breakfast is lovely and was served in our room.

We stayed at the Atlantic View in March 2010 for 5 nights. In many respects the hotel is excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and basically act as a concierge service. Nothing is too much trouble. They booked us some fantastic tables in restaurants and made excellent recommendations on where to eat out.

Greg, the owner, is excellent at responding to enquiries and extremely helpful and polite.

Our room was lovely. We were in room 1 and had breakfast delivered to our room every monring. The only caveat I have about the room was that we were kept up 2 nights by the wind. it whistles off Table Mountain and down the valley over the hotel. I think room 1 must have been particularly exposed. The breakfasts are excellent. Lots of fruit and beauitfully arranged and presented. Some rooms have breakfast served at a communal table downstairs but I was very happy to have it privately on our balcony.

I have to recommend the hotel's tours. Yes they are more expensive than what you will pay elsewhere but they are worth every penny. We were taken out by Dale for our 2 tours and he was absolutely fantastic. He gave us plenty of information about what we were seeing and also arranged the day around our requirements. We were treated like royalty being taken around in the Range Rover and it was a throughly enjoyable experience.

Finally, the hotel is located some way above Camp's Bay but it is walkable into town. Otherwise the hotel does operate a taxi service and they are willing to collect you anytime, anywhere as they say!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this unique, friendly establishment. The other guests were delightful too.

Stayed here 3 nights. The hotel was great. We had our breakfast delivered to the room every morning and ate on our deck overlooking the atlantic ocean. Every evening we had sundowners with the other guests and watched the sun set. Very private hotel. The staff were very friendly. Loved the area.
