The Villa Rosa is in a great location for us. Very convenient for walking along the water and for shopping. Lots of synagogues and kosher food within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with information and arrangements. Our room was really comfy and had lots of closet space. The main drawback was a really dangerous step down into the bathroom. The shower and bathtub were great, though. It was also a little noisy, facing a busy street.

Thanks for your review. There's not much we can do about the step - but if we have a brainwave, we'll put it into action! There is a notice however to remind guests that there is a step. We hope to see you again in the future.

The people are warm and welcoming, and the place is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious also. I stayed in the "small bright room", which has a funny little shower and powder room, but they forewarned me that it was small (and even sent me photos ahead of time). The location is perfect. I would certainly stay there again!

Room Tip: I stayed in the least expensive room, and was very happy.

We have stayed a few times now at the Villa Rosa and have always tremendously enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and the staff go out of their way to ensure we have a pleasant stay. Well situated close to the beaches and to town.

Warm atmosphere. The two most helpful sisters kept and added to the charm of this wonderful building. Beds very comfortable, beautiful linens which you dont find very often. Staff was friendly and food was very good. Cannot say enough positives about the cleanliness.

We would go back. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay at Villa Rosa in 16 months. We could not have ask for more helpful and friendly people to stay with. Our plans changed slightly and the staff at VR were extremely helpful in sorting out details regarding all aspects of being away from home. I would not consider staying anyplace else while in Cape Town. Close to the beach, great restaurants, a good walk to the center of town., large immaculately clean rooms. We look forward to returning.

We just spent 2 weeks in the lovely, spacious room 8, with its large bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette, modernized bathroom and direct access to the upstairs, sea-facing balcony. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the house itself is charming, with it's combination of old and modern. The security systems in place were unobtrusive, yet made us feel quite secure. There were local plugs in the room for charging our overseas phones and ipad, and the free wifi was great. Breakfasts were delicious, and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. If you want to stay in Sea Point the location is perfect, with the main road, beach road, promenade, restaurants, buses and taxis all just minutes away, Thank you to Lynn, Heather, Papi and all the staff for your hospitality.

Room Tip: The rooms facing High Level Rd get the noise of the traffic, but also get the sun and the view, so i...
