This is an excellent guesthouse with nice interior such as african art, modern paintings and arefully chosen details. It differs in so many ways from other hotels: excellent breakfast, candlelight at night around the pool, friendly stuff, excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing and tours around South Africa and Namibia. The owners are friendly, ambigious and enthusiastic. Overall a great and convenient place to relax.

This guesthouse is located in the center of cape town, next to the new football - stadium ( perfect for football - fans !!!! ).The price is absolutely perfect for this kind of guesthouses. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and the breakfast is like in a
5 * hotel. The staff is so friendly, helpfull - esspecially Martin ( the Nightmanager ) is such a nice person. Also the owners recommend only the best restaurants and help you to organize your activities.
We can absolutely recommend this guesthouses for all kind of people who want to enjoy cape town in combination with a perfect hotel.
We will come back!!!!
Congratulations for a perfect concept.

We spent 4 nights in this Guest House and we were very, very pleased of our choice. The location in Green Point is perfect (close to the Stadium and the Waterfront) The house is clean and very well decorated. The rooms are big and comfortable and a great breakfast is served in the morning. (no lunch or dinner is served) The staff is very welcoming and gives plenty of good advices on restaurants and other activities around the area. If you feel like choosing a guest house as accommodation in Cape town we can highly recommend this one.

Excellent hotel. Lou, Peter & Frank made us feel right at home & were most helpful with suggestions of things to do & place's to eat. Good location, just a short trip to the V&A
waterfront. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a good location, its a 10min walk to the V&A, short taxi ride to city bowl, table mountain and camps bay. However, the surrounding area was not great. I'm guessing this will change prior to the world cup next year (the stadium is about 5 mins away) as there is a lot of building work going on (although this seems to be on the roads leading to the stadium rather than restaurants etc nearby). Although we didnt have any problems, i didnt feel particularly safe walking on main road to the V&A. There are plenty of gorgeous restaurants at the V&A and Camps Bay which we went to as taxis are cheap.

The hotel itself is nice, its been recently refurbished so the rooms are lovely and the bathrooms are huge (loved the double shower, underfloor heating etc). It has a very contemporary finish which is lovely and suited the fact that it was in the bustling city part of cape town rather than the more chilled seaside part like camps bay etc. There is a lovely terrace with a small pool which we spent time enjoying on our last day. The staff were very friendly and happy to provide details of the local sightseeing (e.g. red bus tour) so we could see as much as possible in the few days we were there.

I was quite disappointed with the breakfasts, the website says that there are "Sumptuous breakfast buffet, laden with fresh Cape produce and international delights" in reality there was some fruit and yogurt, only museli (no other cereal until i asked for some), some muffins and some white and brown bread. I didnt try the hot breakfast which could be requested. You also had to specify what time you wanted to have breakfast which meant you couldnt really have a lie in a wander down when we wanted (although we did once...). Also, there were lots of flies (about 10) constantly in the breakfast room and the food wasnt covered so this put me off a bit.

Overall though it was a good location to see everything and a lovely guest house, it was just the breakfast that let it down.
