Beside of location, rooms and another important thins - key selling point for the hotels is a stuff!
The Glen has uncredibly good trained stuff - they are friendly, charming and always ready and stand by to help you anything you ask for..
Glen has probably most charming Food Manager in the worl;d - and he is doing his Job well. The Breakfast ist nice - but I did preferred the small, delicious menue for a lunch or dinner. The Quality of Food and Ingrediants was amazing and absolutely fresh. Compliment to the Cook !
Great place to stay if you prefere to be near to the City...(just two minutes walk to different cityline buses.., 5 minutes to the sea Point Promenade)
I had a "de luxe" room with a very spacious bathroom and small terace - it was kind of cosy - but next time I would prefere to get some more modern - "clean chic style" room..
Everythins is very clean and good mantained.
Definitely good decision to stay at Glen - if you wish to be near of everything - and don't forget to order some sun-downer drink - the have probably greatest coctails in the town !

we were the first time in Cape Town and SA and to cut it short: it was a blast! The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the facilities are very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and sunset at the pool with a chilled drink from the bar amazing. Thanks to everybody and hope to see you soon, Thomas from Zurich

Room Tip: the rooms in the side-building have great terraces! our bath room was amazingly big - ask for it.

Staying at The Glen Boutique Hotel or The Glen Apartments is like staying with great friends. We had the most amazing time and can't thank the wonderful staff enough for their hospitality. The staff really go out of their way to help, advise and entertain. Special thanks to Mark, Bogdan, Ziggy, Phillip and Phil. We look forward to our next visit.

I can highly recommend The Glen Hotel i Cape Town to everyone !
We stayed at The Glen for 2 weeks, and we had a great time !
The hotel is very nice, clean, nicely decorated and well kept.
We had a great room, spacious, a big balcony with a view over Sea Point ( and even a glimpse of the ocean !)
Phil, Mark and all the rest of the staff are great ! Very friendly, helpful with all matters, very polite and attentive.
A truly great place !

Great location, quality breakfasts and friendly staff - specially Phil the general manager. We had a few fixture and fittings problems with our room but these were resolved by the management. It's good that they have a car park but it is small and manouvering can be difficult when other guests have parked inconsiderately. Whilst this is a predominantly gay friendly hotel there were other couples staying there and we did not feel out of place.

Room Tip: The management did acknowledge that we had the worst room in the hotel (room 4) which is very small...

By far the best place we have stayed at...ever! The staff are always willing to help with a smile, the food is beyond delicious, the rooms are spotless, comfortable and stylishly furnished, and the pool deck is the perfect place for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you! A long over due review, but we will be returning really soon.

We definitely had an amazing stay at the Glen. It´s modern and stylish, yet not overdone. The pool area is fantastic and the rooms are very individually designed. Maybe some of them lack a bit of cupboard space, but I was totally satisfied. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the wide selection of warm dishes!! It is true that sometimes Service is a bit chaotic but - after we complained on the second day - we had a "running joke" for the rest of our stay! Glen is not for Dining, but you still can get something very decent to eat, if you want to spend the evening in the Hotel. But Cape Town is definteliy full of suberb Restaurants which are not to be missed!

The Location is nice in Sea Point - which is not directly in the Center but nice and quiet and very nearby the stunning beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. Taxis to the Center and the Restaurants are not expensive!

The staff has often been praised before and I just can say that they ALL really try to to their best to make their guests happy. Very helpful and always fun! I was really sad that the days went by so fast but I will defintely come back!
