After a good days trip, we were hungry. All of craving for our native cuisine (INDIAN FOOD).
We asked the guest house owner, where we were staying. She suggested the nearest one was Anapurna Restaurant. We specifically hired a cab and went to this place, paying R 300 only as the cab fare. It was located in a mall in the main city. The place was small and the ambiance dull.
We ordered our typical desi food. Butterity Chicken, Dal tadka and Mixed vegetable along with a bread basket. When the food arrived, it was full of color, to the extent the identity of the dish was lost in the bright red color. The vegetables were bland and tasteless, the rice were uncooked, and the naan had an overdose of baking soda. The chapati's were chewy and rubbery.
All in all a very bad experience!!
