Description: Sevruga is a culmination of a lifetime of work, and our complete dedication to perfection. Although perfection is almost always a step away, we always endeavour to exceed your wildest expectations, offerings lush interiors, exquisite dining and an intimate atmosphere seating up to 350. From the New York style entrance, polished marble and solid wooden floors, to the fabulous American walnut bar counter and designer chairs with opulent, imported fabric, it is clear that no expense has been spared. Our philosophy when creating Sevruga was the same as when we create our signature dishes. We use the best possible raw ingredients, combined with professional and creative suppliers and craftsmen to create a truly amazing experience. An elaborate menu offering a vast array of wines and meals ranging from humble dishes to taste sensations, with more complex tastes and flavours. The service is relaxed yet professional, while the view from both inside the restaurant and out on the terrace, will take your breath away! As part of giving Sevruga customers an all-round experience, a Functions Manager for tour and incentive groups is always on hand and, from the entrance to the kitchen, Sevruga has steadfast principles in place to guarantee an over-all experience of grandeur. With especially designed set menus, we can cater for any function. It's no wonder that every now and then we are delighted to have famous faces, both local and international, grace our establishment. A-list Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Tom Hardy, have been spotted dining at Sevruga, as well as our beautiful Benoni Blom Charlize Theron. You never know you might just bump into Brangalina! "The only reason to visit the V&A Waterfront". - The New York Times.

This is a beautiful venue, but my lamb shoulder for R135 was just plain boring. And 4 slices of vegetables don't count as vegetables. As a local, I won't be going back or recommending it

So this was the first restaurant I visited in Cape Town, and it was very good. The atmosphere is very cool and full of young people. Being in a trendy area of the city (The Waterfront), it seems to be a cool place for a variety of people to hang out. The menu is huge and varied. There is everything from sushi and other asian cuisines, to fish, meats, and two pages of desserts. There is also a large drinks selection. The food was very good (I had the asian prawn curry myself). Overall, the great food and fun atmosphere is more than enough for me to recommend this restaurant

Our first visit to this restaurant in the waterfront. Odd menu with too much on it. Should have been an early warning sign. Terrific location with great service. However, as huge fans of dumplings, my wife and I could not resist trying a lamb version and a duck version. One type was meant to be pan fried but was steamed instead, and neither were pleasant to eat. Braised lamb shoulder for main was unappealing in presentation and a little bland in taste. Tandoori chicken was plain chicken breast which had some tandoori spices rubbed on it in places. Perhaps we should have had the seafood?

We have been here a couple of times - and previously the food was excellent and it felt like you were somewhere special. This time the menus were standard, the food was mediocre and the service was good. Not certain I will go back again when there are so many other excellent restaurants in Cape Town

Having always had great service & overall good memories at Beluga - I decided to try out Sevruga at the venue for a friend's birthday lunch.

Blown away from the slick and friendly service the Guest Relations and Event Co-ordinator [Chanel] as well as our waiter on the day [Dean].

Perfect weather to take full advantage of our excellent outside table together with great sushi, dim sum and Summer wine.

We will definately be back.
