“Couldn't have been better”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

For our 50th anniversary we took our grand children to Africa and could not have chosen a better place to spend 4 nights before going on safari. Our group of 9 had three rooms and they were delightful. The rooms are quite large, clean and well furnished. All of the amenities are included in each room and the highlight of each day was going to the dining room for a sumptuous breakfast. You could partake of the large buffet or chose breakfast from a menu. The grand kids ranged in age from 3 to 9 and they could always find something for breakfast that they really liked. We were welcomed by the staff, late at night, after traveling for over 30 hours. Everyone was extremely pleasant and wanted to do their best for you each day. If you get to Cape Town, make it a point to stay here. You will not be disappointed.

We have a one bedroom unit, which has tremendous amount of room. We love it. The staff could not be nicer. The unit is clean and they have looked into all of the needs of the guests. It is very quiet, yet in the middle of the center as the locals call it. I call it downtown. Definitely stay at this hotel.

Our family of 19 people, including 8 children from age 9 to 16, loved this boutique hotel in which we stayed for two nights. The rooms are delightfully appointed and charming, each a bit different from the others. Do you like hot water bottles in your bed? Large areas for relaxing? Friendly staff? The breakfast is outstanding. Have you ever seen a full honeycomb from a beehive on a breakfast buffet? Stay here if you can....you will be very pleased.

Room Tip: Q3 and 4 are really great.

This turned out to be a great choice for us. The two-bedroom suite was tons of room for the three of us (two adults, one ten-year-old). It was chilly in Cape Town in July, so they snuck hot water bottles into the beds, which was bliss. Front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was unreal. A word of warning: don't fill up too much on the wonderful buffet since they will also want to serve you a full hot breakfast.

The part we liked best was the neighborhood. There are many very good, not touristy, restaurants on Kloof, that we could walk to. And we could also easily walk down to Long Street for a more touristy vibe. We felt very comfortable walking in the neighborhood in the evenings.

The V&A was a quick cab ride away, but it was a delight to get back to our home in the evening. We would stay here again enthusiastically.

Great spacious apartments in a fantastic location. Close to shops restaurants and bars (walking distance) but also sheltered from noise. Close to all the main sights too (table mountain, V&A waterfront, camps bay etc)
Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. Helped with booking tours and restaurant recommendations.
Beautiful breakfasts included and some lovely touches like the turn down service where they pop hot water bottles in the bed for you (stayed in winter!) and notes on your bed with the next days weather predictions to help you plan your time here.
Loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Spent 4 nights at More Quarters a few weeks ago. Arrived late at night to a warm welcome and a recommendation for a nearby restaurant that was still serving food! The staff were all warm, helpful and friendly! We forgot our passport in the room safe when going to pick up a rental car. The hotel offered to bring the passport to the Avis office so that we would not have to double back and waste more time. WOW!!!!

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Breakfast was fantastic and made to order!

The hotel even helped us celebrate our anniversary by providing a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine.

I have nothing but positives to say regarding the More Quarters.

Will stay nowhere else on our next trip to Cape Town. Restaurant recommendations were all fantastic!!
