“Great rooms, lovely design features, variable service”
Reviewed 16 February 2012

Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Good facilities although conference room underground so felt a little starved of air. Rooms were huge, slightly lacking in character but had everything needed. Food was good, spa was fine, with a small pool area on the roof, although a little too cold to utilise. Service was generally excellent but a few off moments have led me to allocate 4 rather than 5 stars. However I would stay again if in the area on business.
The hotel is well located and secure.

I love the interior of this hotel, from the mood lighting to the use of colour and texture. This is however a carbon copy of the W Hotel range owned by Starwood, but who cares. If you are a lover of design it is worthwhile staying a night.

The rooms are also cutting edge design, well thought out and good if you are travelling on business. The roof top pool is worth a visit and offers great views of Cape Town, from the mountain, the company gardens to the fore shore.

The doorman "bouncer" at the front door idea should have been left in New York where the W originates.

Service is mediocre and lets a great hotel down.

i travel extensivley with work and see a lot of hotels. What i liked about 15 on Orange was it was pretty unique in deisgn. Very modern and cool hotel. Huge rooms a real bonus, and if you like to go out, Long street is on the doorstep.
This hotel is now my hotel choice when in Cape Town

Spent some time at the hotel for business and was catered to from the moment I arrived till well after I left. I had some issues with damaged bags that were promptly dealt with with a full replacement, including sourcing the luggage and bringing it back to the room. I was so impressed by this level of service I sent flowers to the customer relationship staff on duty.
I love the mountain facing view and the suites are a delight. I recommend the open plan suite. The food is gorgeous and the service is top.

Room Tip: Mountain facing, open plan suite

Real Stylish Hotel, this one very modern. Love the look and the furnisher. Even though it was just a quick pop in for a milk shake, which was great by the way, some things didn't make sense.
Concierge is the first form of staff you get after the doorman of course. Offered help but looked at me like I was going to attack them .Then up onto the first floor to reception. If I was checking in to this hotel, I wouldn't want to have to go that far for a simple check-in.
Other than that strange lay out everything else is pretty good. drinks snacks, comfort. next maybe I'll be there longer than 2 hours.

The staff went above and beyond to get things done for us during our stay without us asking them to do so. The rooms and bathrooms were amazing especially with the view of table mountain. The breakfast was wonderful, the location was great, service was spot on. Only complaints are no iron or ironing boards in the room, and the fee to have the hotel car take you places is a bit high

As resident Capetonians, my Wife and I did something different as a treat and spent the evening at 15 on Orange. Although we were there for just one night, we were treated like royalty from the instant we arrived through the check in process and shown straight to our luxury room. The room was set out very modern and spacious. There is a large double bed int he bedroom and comfortable couches in the lounge area. Both having their own flatscreen TV.
a clever additional tech-gadget was the alarm clockradio with Iphone doc so i could charge my Iphone and listen to my music controlled with a remote as well.
The bathroom was also big with a large shower, two basins, and massive tub with a view of Table Mountain.
We cannot wait to enjoy another evening.

Room Tip: Request the 4th or 5th floor with a view of the mountain.
