This is a really smart new hotel, well located for Long Street / Kloof Street. The rooms are spacious (we went for the larger rooms), with a huge, well-appointed, bathroom. We managed to find a good rate, through Agoda, at well under half the full price, so got a very good deal. Breakfast is expensive, so best to go to Knead or Arnold's on Kloof. Very comfy bed.

Since we were part of a tour I can't really say about value but this place was excellent. Our room had 2 TVs, a king bed and a living area with a fridge. The bathroom had wall to wall glass with a huge claw foot tub, large shower stall and 2 sinks. The rooms vary slightly but all are so big.
The staff was incredible. The breakfast was buffet and made to order with lattes or expresso.
The location was quiet and nice for a walk through the park on your way to the centre. The place has just been newly remodeled and isn't a chain-yeah.

Room Tip: Corner room was amazing.

2nd visit and I just love this hotel. Everything was just perfect as usual from reception, rooms, service and facilities. The outside area next to the bar is a perfect retreat with very keen and attentive staff. The Spa is small but quality is top class. The rooms are perfect - everything you need even with half day turn around on laundry. Reccomend the mountain facing rooms - they have magnificent views.

Room Tip: Mountain facing rooms

The hotel is located in a historic part of Cape Town, close to the iconic Long Street which is a stunning movie street location in Cape Town. Next door to Parliament and the Mount Nelson Hotel. Excellent location to stay, within walking distance of most places in the city and 10 minutes from the waterfront. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and found the staff extremely helpful.

Room Tip: My room was superb!

Got one of the big rooms. Lots of space and lovely colorful but minimalistic finishes. I think this hotel has some of the best finishes in Cape Town. My room was next to the main road. Nice view but not of the Table Mountain. My only complaint is that there is so much traffic noise and the windows do not have sound proofing. Breakfast was average. It's a bit way off the entertaining Long Street. But walking to the hub of Long Street will take you about 10 mins. I'll slightly generous and give it 4 stars.

I have visited the Suntra spa on about 4 occasions over the past 4 months. It is more like a salon than a spa-there is no relaxation area, the hotel pool is next to the therapy rooms and as a result there is alot of noise(definately not peaceful),also there is no sauna or steam room as one would expect at a spa(such as there sister spa at Century City-which unfortunately doesn't offer the facial treatment I wanted). The therapist was always late for my appointment and did not give me the time back. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Dear Lenore N ,

Thank you for the feedback, we always learn and appreciate positive and negative feedback.
We are currently doing renovations and shortly there will be a relaxing waiting area and a Jacuzzi.
The Rooms being next to the pool is unfortunate- we do try and keep the noise level at the pool down but it is not always easy as these are the hotel guests and want to enjoy their holiday at the pool. The client can request a room that is not near the pool for more quiet time.
Sometimes we do unfortunately run late, we try for this not to be a regular thing.

Warm regards,
Caryn

The wel-known Sunday Buffet at 15 On Orange has not disappointed. The huge variety, tasteful display and appetizing presentation make the lunch experience so much more worthe the while.

The food is contemporary, simple and clean. It sparkles with freshness and taste. From Springbok carpacio to salmon roses, each dish is an artwork in its own right. The gravalax is the best I have ever tasted outside of Norway whilst the beef fillets are tender and just well done. The lamb cutlets and kingklip portions are delicious and of just the adequate size.

The dessert table is to die for.....and to die of. I cannot highlight any of the selection on display as each portion is a magic moment in itself.

I can only strongly recommend this Sunday lunch. It is presented only on the first Sunday of each month. Some people might consider it expensive, but taking in consideration that bottomless Method Cap Classique (sparkling wine) is included in the price, you will realise that a similar experience elsewhere would most probably cost you more.

PS: Do not forget to have some of the fresh oysters on offer.......
