I stayed on 15 on Orange in March 2014 and last year in April 2013. The Boutique hotel is luxurious, spacious and perfectly positioned to get into the city. A perfect space to hide away for a weekend get-away. T.

This hotel was outstanding!! It was def a 5 star hotel with such beautiful decor. The breakfast served was delicious and it offered everything and tons of healthy choices. Our view was absolutely magnificent with Tabletop Mountain right outside our large ceiling to floor windows!! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. We were certainly treated like royalty during our stay. My only complaint was when we needed to use an atm machine and we were told there was an atm at the gas station up the road on the right. We went there and got our credit card stolen from a scammer who pretended to assist us. We did inform the staff at the African Pride and they thanked us for letting them know and they will never send anyone to that atm at the gas station. There is an atm up the road on the left in the supermarket if one is needed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Tabletop mountain

Dear sueda5,

What a fantastic review and we appreciate the time that you have taken to provide us with valuable feedback. We are delighted to receive your compliments about the STAFF and we will certainly congratulate the TEAM for their exemplary service. It is very upsetting to hear about your incident at the atm and we will definitely make sure to not send any other GUEST's there.

Your comments are therefore much appreciated, and we hope to have the privilege of welcoming you back to African Pride 15 on Orange hotel again soon.

This is a really smart new hotel, well located for Long Street / Kloof Street. The rooms are spacious (we went for the larger rooms), with a huge, well-appointed, bathroom. We managed to find a good rate, through Agoda, at well under half the full price, so got a very good deal. Breakfast is expensive, so best to go to Knead or Arnold's on Kloof. Very comfy bed.

Since we were part of a tour I can't really say about value but this place was excellent. Our room had 2 TVs, a king bed and a living area with a fridge. The bathroom had wall to wall glass with a huge claw foot tub, large shower stall and 2 sinks. The rooms vary slightly but all are so big.
The staff was incredible. The breakfast was buffet and made to order with lattes or expresso.
The location was quiet and nice for a walk through the park on your way to the centre. The place has just been newly remodeled and isn't a chain-yeah.

Room Tip: Corner room was amazing.

2nd visit and I just love this hotel. Everything was just perfect as usual from reception, rooms, service and facilities. The outside area next to the bar is a perfect retreat with very keen and attentive staff. The Spa is small but quality is top class. The rooms are perfect - everything you need even with half day turn around on laundry. Reccomend the mountain facing rooms - they have magnificent views.

Room Tip: Mountain facing rooms

The hotel is located in a historic part of Cape Town, close to the iconic Long Street which is a stunning movie street location in Cape Town. Next door to Parliament and the Mount Nelson Hotel. Excellent location to stay, within walking distance of most places in the city and 10 minutes from the waterfront. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and found the staff extremely helpful.

Room Tip: My room was superb!

Got one of the big rooms. Lots of space and lovely colorful but minimalistic finishes. I think this hotel has some of the best finishes in Cape Town. My room was next to the main road. Nice view but not of the Table Mountain. My only complaint is that there is so much traffic noise and the windows do not have sound proofing. Breakfast was average. It's a bit way off the entertaining Long Street. But walking to the hub of Long Street will take you about 10 mins. I'll slightly generous and give it 4 stars.
