Love 15 on Orange! Equal favourite city hotel I have ever stayed at - the other being the Mandarin in KL). Stayed with my husband and baby in August in a deluxe Table Mt view room and were extremely well accommodated.
Extraordinary view of Table Mt. Ceiling to floor and wall to wall windows. Loved it!! Even better than the photos.
Love the consistently funky decor and design throughout the room and hotel, with great attention to detail.
The deluxe room was spacious. We placed the baby cot at one end of the room and were able to happily watch the TV by the bed (one of two TVs in the room). Loved the bathroom, especially the bath and it's sparkly white tiled recess.
The only negatives were patchy service at breakfast, sometimes with a bit of attitude, and only having a rain shower style shower in the bathroom, rather than a regular out facing shower or handheld with good pressure. I really dislike having the shower water coming down directly on top of my head even if I am washing my hair. Regarding the service at breakfast, we weren't advised that there were different types of tea available, that you could order off the al la carte menu if you have the buffet. We happened to find out on the last say of our stay when we asked.
I wouldn't bother staying in a room that isn't Table Mt, and the rooms smaller than the deluxe would probably have been too small for us. The smaller rooms do look very small, and the rooms face into the lobby atrium are not private.
Happy with the location, primarily due to the Table Mt views and thought the car parking was well priced.
Loved it overall.
